Every time Blackford's name is called there's a collective groan in the House. No wonder, they've just had to sit through 25 minutes of his droning on.

Even if they were discussing a proposal for free beer all round Blackford would would make it sound unpalatable.

Never speak too soon OFF or you get made to look a fool  ;)

The footsie is at this moment down at minus .36%

If you kept up to speed you would know that the FTSE is between 15 and 20% below where it should be if it had kept up with other leading western markets. In reality it is around 2,500 points below where it should be.  Why because of this ridiculous government and Brexit.

The FTSE had already been steadily recovering over the last few weeks in anticipation of a form of Brexit deal.

You have to realise that it has been a major policy of  Mr Cummings to degrade the UK economy so that after Brexit was finalised the economy only had one way to go, that is upwards.

So that, even though the country is in the mire, from now on this deceitful government will be able to shout from the roof tops about how well the economy is motoring along and everybody forgetting that it was the government that ruined it in the first place.

Cue my trolls.

One would expect on the day of signing off the brexit deal ftse and exchange rate would finally fall off the cliff, it was predicted by many, and just hasn’t happened, not today, not in the last 4.5 years since the vote to leave.

NO mention of Covid which, in case you haven't noticed, has had a massive impact on the economy and borrowing.

A Very Happy New Year to you and your family too, my friend.

If it wasn't for this damned Covid - it would be a great New Year.

Freedom at last. :t:

Funny how you only pop up when you think you can gloat, but the big losers will undoubtedly be in your part of the world. Not that it'll affect you of course...

I shouldnt reply really. But seeing you are slightly thick if you need to ask that question , it means that Aldi , due to Brexit , sees the benefit of shorter supply lines (purchasing more from the UK) rather than longer ones from the eu. Everyone else i'm pretty sure would understand , but not you it seems.
