Is Monday April 11th correct? Presumably the Bees match is on Sky being as it has been moved from the Friday and I can't remember any second half racing being held after a Sky match before.

Agreed sadly Sky do not seem keen on the 2nd half matches however I wish they were. Imagine the buzz the riders would get out of live coverage & full commentary of their heats.

If it does become a SKY match I will have to move date as normally they do not like 2nd halves .....which is a pity !

Im not against any of the naming conventions but they are not the most pressing MDL requirements bright now. As it stands there are very few meetings for the riders to compete in plus the squad system (if adhered to) will limit those opportunities further.

 

Why more clubs are not prepared to host / run MDL teams amazes me? It costs no extra for the host clubs and provides a bit of extra value to the paying public. If it wasn't for greedy referees there could be far more post match entertainment.
