I disagree, speedway is an individual competition, like boxing, tenis, or fencing, not a league one. Any league, or team competition in speedway is secondary to the one and only individual world championships title. I note today that a plaque commemorating Antoni Woryna has been unveiled and the wording on that plaque state "Pierwszy Polski Medalista Indywidualnych Mistrzostw Swiata Reprezentant ROW Rybnik",which shows the importance of the world final.No mention of any other competitions at all Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Patryk Dudek overtook 3 times GP champion Pedersen like the latter was a rookie lol so you admit yourself being excited by Dudek individual effort rather than by his - and your - Mickey Mouse team. Poor performance of "Dzik" today and after last heat PePe said he could attack Pedersen but he decided it's not worth the risk since the final victory was safe. Can't wait for 2nd leg. This time with "Mały" in Falubaz's squad. Can't even count how much of overtaking and fighting was there. It was that many. Definitely was sitting on my armchair's edge several times. Well a 3-time world champion fights till the end, thats why Pepe never achieved anything individually, but he is all right around Zielona Gora. Lakeside v Belle Vue is the live SKY Elite league match on Wednesday also. moving on to Thursday 5th Eurosport 2 have live coverage of the pairs from Landshut Germany at 2pm.(bank holiday in Germany ) We then move on to Friday 6th for the live Extraleague match Zielona Gora v Wroclaw -all UK times programme starts on N SPORT at 6pm with 1st race at 6.30pm.
