Glasgow V Coventry (challenge) 27th March 2016

Recommended Posts

Happy days are here again!
I can smell the methanol already.

Speedway returns with a refreshingly new first footer.
We throw out the old, and bring in the new.
No more Trainspotters kicking off the season, they're busy looking for a Digby to potter round at the back wearing No7.

Nope, a star studded team comes to town namely:

1. Richard Lawson
2. Richie Worrall
3. Ben Barker (Yes! That Ben Barker)
4. Nike Luna
5. Aaron Summers (aka Captain Bloody Fantastic)
6. Coty Garcia
7. Danny Ayres (he's one of us already!)

Then we have the equally star studded Coventry Bees
1. Krzysztof Kasprzak
2. Kasper Wornya
3. Danny King
4. James Sarjeant
5. Chris Harris
6. Martin Knuckey
7. Liam Carr

Mucho mouth watering races in prospect with GP riders, a few Ashfield track record holders and the chance to see five new Tigers in action.

Scottish speedway kicks off on Sunday ... Whilst the lawns and rose beds of Edinburgh get tended, and the rider job interviews commence.

Very excited by this fixture, had a chat with coty garcia and he was such a nice, genuine guy. ALL the new boys seem hyper enthusiastic, and Summers/Lawson are just immense.

Really good guy, great attitude.

Danny is something else. More personality in his right toe than the average human has in totality. Going to be a big fan's favourite.

Coty is probably the nicest speedway rider I've known, he's so kind and will do anything to help, was a pleasure to have him at Berwick at the end of last season

Hmm.

Let me see.

Seven rider teams have been on the go for ...

10 years.

Nope.

20 years.

Nope.

30 years.

Nope.

OK I give in.

Don't tell me, Edinburgh were the first team EVER in British speedway to have a strong 1/2.

Shouldn't let your good riders go then, should you?

Boring.

Wakey, wakey!

Jealousy oozing out of every pore!

Feel the burn MrB, feel the burn ....

its just that you need a good rider for ht 14. putting nike in the number 4 position in ht 14 with any of their 2 reserves they have could be a bit of a pumping (as your lot say) against them .

just pointing it out . i think they are trying to copy m/bra from last year, but eadinbra had an exceptional top 5 and 2 reserves who could hold their own, home and away . i dont see the tigers reserves doing that .

with regards having a good number 2 , i had one last night after my curry ..
