Then you would hope for Clegg to ride a blinder

Would hope for Clegg to ride a stinker for this meeting to give us a helping hand!

Which ever way Edinburgh try to cover it's going to be a problem.

Wouldn't rule that out very capable round Armadale.

As with most Glasgow away meetings this season, if their top four fire that will go along way to winning the meeting for them. As for this one all signs point to a second home defeat on the spin for the Monarchs.

Like an Old Firm game I can never be confident of a win.

Danny and Coty will be key.

Have visions of Danny scraping round the boards.

So hope I'm wrong.

Hope all the boys come away safe and we bag a win.

Aye George , the worry is that most people are expecting us to win . We might look a better side on paper than they do , but it's still Armadale and we've had too many disappointments there to be too confident .

My thoughts too. If we go there cocky we could get our backsides smacked. Embra will be well up for this.

Should be a stroll in the park for weegies if they have any aspirations of winning any trophies this season.

If we don't win the below will apply

It's our first away meeting

Track was wet

not concerned at all we will come good

bedding in new riders it will be fine

Track was wet again

Riders had clutch problems

Too early in the season to judge

Long way to go don't worry

Track was a bit damp.

Ring any bells.

I think those are copyright.

How about........

- the Grand Monarch was ref

- Cookie Smiler was using an over-sized engine

- it was a gaters' track and we are racers not gaters.

- the track was too smooth/grippy/slick/whatever

- our incredibly highly tuned at huge expense engines were to incredibly highly tuned for the diddy track

- I wasn't there so I don't know how we did
