iris123 20,979 Posted May 24, 2016 thanks, where are you following that? Svemo still saying 0-0 Sportowefakty
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted May 24, 2016 Meeting starts in 10 minutes Looks very wet. I'd expected them to do one of their remarkable Swedish track recoveries but they seem to have just let it drain. . Sportowe Fakty reported to the Poles that it was postponed. Oh well, let's see what we get. Eurosport's highlights show is on at 7 am tomorrow by the way. zlata prilba 320 Posted May 24, 2016 Be interesting to see how Holder rides tonight given he didn't like the track last night at Poole..
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) This looks a lot smoother- it's probably as wet as the overwatered Wimborne Road was. The Swedes quote averages per ride, not CMA as we use here. Jonsson's was 1.2, converting to 4.8, explaining his reserve berth. Edited May 24, 2016 by rmc
racers and royals 8,723 Posted May 24, 2016 Svemo have technical problems with tonights matches- some detail but no heat scores
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted May 24, 2016 That track's holding up very well - hope we get some racing as it dries.

BritPete 625 Posted May 24, 2016 Kenneth Bjerre is riding well-on a wet track too. Surely someone here will sign him soon!
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Kenneth Bjerre is riding well-on a wet track too. Surely someone here will sign him soon! But would he show the same commitment here or want an affordable deal? Anders Thomsen's looking an odd pick as wildcard for the Danish GP. BritPete 625 Posted May 24, 2016 But would he show the same commitment here or want an affordable deal? Anders Thomsen's looking an odd pick as wildcard for the Danish GP. That is the question, but he seems to be putting himself in the shop window tonight.
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Wet track prevents him to show his brilliance, he will win the GP. I'm sure he earned the nomination and yes a track like that isn't a fair setting on which to judge him. Given what appeared on screen as the coverage started it's testament to Swedish track construction and preparation that we not only saw a meeting but one with acceptable racing. I think the professionalism over there and in Poland contributes to the crowds over there rather than just the names as so many wish to think. "Hey, coming to speedway next Friday, Nicki Pedersen's riding" "Who?" Edited May 24, 2016 by rmc
