NeilWatson 1,988 Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) All please note - the A47 is CLOSED between Guyhirn and Wisbech. Serious RTA, police say road is likely to be closed all afternoon. Alternative route is to leave the A47 at Peterborough, then A16 to Spalding and A17 to Kings Lynn. This will take a little longer than the normal route. Mimmo 1,070 Posted June 22, 2016 I'd estimate needing an extra 30-45 minutes for your journey, especially as EVERYONE will be using the same route, and the A17 is a pig of a road at the quietest of times> Hope you all arrive safely and on time.

Daniel Smith 5,645 Posted June 22, 2016 Not spending my money on this one with the rain about. Save some hard earned and watch it on the box There is now a serious accident on the A17 at Terrington St Clement just to add to the delays
mdmc82 2,878 Posted June 22, 2016 A big blow for us now Garrity is out esp after his recent run of great form. Can't see our draft reserves & Kacper scoring what he would 😕 We are going to need a big night from our top 3 to get anything from this. Predict 50-

Save some hard earned and watch it on the box There is now a serious accident on the A17 at Terrington St Clement just to add to the delays Bearing in mind the traffic and accidents, would choose either, go Thorney to Parson Drove then Wisbech then back on the A47, or turn right at Guyhirne an head for Coldham then go to Wisbech the back way.... either way would be better than A17
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted June 22, 2016 Is there a stream for this at all? currently in the Algarve and with Portugal playing football tonight no chance of any of the local bars showing the speedway. http://www.streamgaroo.com/live-television/united-kingdom/sky-sports-1-live-stream There are multiple streams. Look for the "Switch Stream' tab to select another if this one fails.

RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted June 22, 2016 Was it sunny, we know sunny nights at Kings Lynn normally leads to delays. I've worked at Lynn and know those sun breaks are necessary. Last thing you need is to head into a corner with the sun straight in your eyes. It's all down to the alignment of the track, flat country and no buildings to block the sun when it's setting. They were necessary 16 years ago and I can't see the sun's changed its habits since then.
NeilWatson 1,988 Posted June 22, 2016 It's sunny now! Bright sunshine, warm and muggy, track looks good.
screm 8,049 Posted June 22, 2016 How long can Kings Lynn persist with Batchelor, if they are wanting to make these play offs they aren`t going to make it carrying him.

Steve0 5,517 Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) Batch still struggling - first corner he shut off rather than risk anything and that's where he stayed. Who would have thought that KL would be 8 down after 3 heats? Batch back to Swindon anyone? Edited June 22, 2016 by Steve0
