Coventry V Kings Lynn -monday 11th July - 7.30pm

Recommended Posts

What injury does he have?

Not sure exactly what happened. His girlfriend has spoke about it on Twitter and I had heard yesterday that he was having problems with breathing.

100% an excuse for Saturday.

If you know anything about Harris then you would know that he doesn't make up injuries after bad results. He was close to pulling out tonight which he doesn't consider easily

How's the weather holding up?

Heavy rain was expected, has it been and gone or still to arrive?

All the forecast I saw only ever forecast light showers.

No rain during the day. It's been overcast abit but had sun as well with a good breeze. Had a bit of rain late last night but path is dry.

All weather forecasts are looking dry now 👍🏻

Current weather: Blue sky, sunny and windy 🌤

Well if he has problems breathing then he shouldn't be allowed to ride!

Perhaps it was just hot air 👍

Shouldn't be that, he had an operation before the season to rectify that issue

Edit. Seems to be something that happened on Thursday so who knows.

Surely the guest has to be for Willkinson?

The sport just stumbled from farce to joke daily. Lynn have taken the piss all year with Huckenbeck riding in the 1-5 despite having a lower average than Wilkinson/Rose so I'm not at all shocked Kings Lynn continue to get away with fiddling things.

I was under the impression that number 8's could only appear in the top five.....

They can, because of an unwritten rule which contradicts the written rule that states they can only replace 1-5 riders, which doesn't take into account that 1-5 riders can drop to reserve.

He would have been stupid not to have been there, he now has an idea of the pressure of the event which will stand him in good stead for future appearances

He already had an idea SL.He had a race in it last year

That explains my dodgy phone call all that heavy breathing

Where's the big crowd with their SOS banners?

Actually, where is the crowd - it looks very sparse!
