Ghostwalker 1,858 Posted August 25, 2016 One of the most important meetings every season and most of them not o TV. Don't understand why. Will any TV show it live this year? Likely the company that bought the rights are asking for too much money.
DutchGrasstrack 804 Posted August 25, 2016 Would make sense if BSI buys the rights Now Dorna got them I believe.

Joe Beevers 207 Posted August 28, 2016 Could be anyone's but the safe bets would be Pawlicki, Lindgren, Dudek and Kasprzak. Good luck to Robert Lambert.
Ghostwalker 1,858 Posted August 28, 2016 I wouldn't count out Ljung either, he knows the track very well.
Steve Shovlar 10,424 Posted August 28, 2016 Britain should have two riders in the comp minimum, so give Lambert a wild card in place of Harris if he fails to qualify.
tarkens 119 Posted August 28, 2016 and why exactly Britain should have two riders in the GP series minimum?
Mark 1,497 Posted August 28, 2016 Britain should have two riders in the comp minimum, so give Lambert a wild card in place of Harris if he fails to qualify. Loads of potential but until he does something on a world stage he does not deserve a wild card. How can any sensible person say he is in the worlds top 15 riders. SCB 0 Posted August 28, 2016 Britain should have two riders in the comp minimum, so give Lambert a wild card in place of Harris if he fails to qualify. If he qualifies then brilliant. If not it's probably a year too soon for a wildcard. First reserve would be nice though.
Steve Shovlar 10,424 Posted August 28, 2016 If he qualifies then brilliant. If not it's probably a year too soon for a wildcard. First reserve would be nice though. Peoplevsaid the same about Woofinden. In his first year he struggled but it was a learning experience. and why exactly Britain should have two riders in the GP series minimum? Because even though speedwy in Britain is struggling at this time, we are still one of the major nations. One rider out of 16 is not enough. What would be the point loading the GP with 5-6 or more Poles, who are all good but rarely outstanding on the world stage? There has to be a variety of nations and Britain deserves more than one berth IMO.
Panthers89 1,922 Posted August 28, 2016 Dudek, Pawlicki and Lambert/Fricke would be nice. Just hope it's riders who will do something in the GP and not a bomber.
Joe Beevers 207 Posted August 28, 2016 Well to be fair to Bomber, he did climb upon the rostrum this year and I don't think a few others like Iversen have. Peter Ljung is a dark horse but I cannot see him making a dent in the GP's.

Steve Shovlar 10,424 Posted August 28, 2016 No more Poles would be preferable. Three is enough. Having half a dozen Poles out of 16 would stifle the competition. Variety is the spice and the more different nations the better Imo. Poland produces good riders that seem to lack that killer edge and consistency on the world stage. One race a world beater, then next at the back. Of course its my opinion and many will completely disagree with me. A top three next week of Dudek, KK and god forbid Jedrzejak would not be good for the series.
