Test Championship final has really come to life today, if India can get a lead of 150+ and take a couple of early wickets this could be a great finish later

Great victory for the Black Caps. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of blokes imo. Williamson exudes class both on and off the pitch. Good to see the match played in such good spirits and Kohli being very sporting in defeat.

Well, that was marvellous! Could not be prouder of the kiwi team. First time in my lifetime we are even close to being the best test team in the world. Obviously the conditions were very much in our favour, but the boys still needed to perform.

Pretty sure we have never had 4 world class bowlers in a team at the same time, great to watch them go about their work. And not sure what can be said about Kane that hasn't already been said - absolute class act.

Massive respect to the India team, game was played in great spirit, and exceptionally sporting in defeat.

TERRIFIC day of cricket ... New Zealand outstanding followed by emphatic England T20 win over a poor (batting) Sri Lanka, Know that Malan is rated the No. 1 T20 international batsman, but he is a tortoise following two greyhounds (Buttler and Roy). Bairstow at 3, Morgan 4, Stokes 5 (no weakening of the batting and strengthens the bowling - a double whammy) Livingstoke/Ali at 7 and so on. Tough to beat.

Well done to New Zealand, great achievement. The introductions of Conway and Jamieson have taken them to another level, they just need to find a quality spinner now.

Comfortable win for England in the 1st T20. Sri Lanka look to be at a similar level to Ireland these days, capable of an upset on their day but no real quality to compete regularly. Would be a better test for England to have had a series against Afghanistan or Bangladesh.

Highlight of the night though came at The Oval where Jack Leach finally played his first T20, 9 years after his first class debut! 3-28 and a run-out, easy game :D

Hopefully there weren't too many new viewers watching last night's game on the BBC, pitches like that aren't good enough for T20.

Bizarre scenes at Edgbaston in the Blast where their student promotion backfired leading to hundreds invading the pitch at the end of the game. Numerous streakers throughout and ignoring the social distancing rules. As a result they may face reduced capacity for the Sri Lanka and Pakistan matches.

Things get worse for Sri Lanka with Gunathilaka, Dickwella and Kusal Mendis sent home after being filmed in Durham city centre at 11.30 on Sunday night.

I doubt the smoking will go down well either!

Anderson's just reached 1000 first class wickets. Another remarkable achievement.

Taken 6-8 in 8 overs so far today, good to see him finding form before the India series later this summer

A completely new squad needed for the Pakistan ODIs after some positive cases. Stokes will captain and the rest to be named later today.

And that squad is;

Stokes (c), Ball, Briggs, Carse, Crawley, Duckett, Gregory, Helm, Jacks, Lawrence, Mahmood, Malan, C Overton, M Parkinson, Payne, Salt, Simpson, Vince

Nice of Surrey to give Ashwin a warm-up game before the Test series

He's even opening the bowling on Day 1 in a side with 3 spinners. Didn't realise that was allowed now? :)

Great moment for him. Probably didn't expect to get another chance and even now might not get another opportunity.

Superb series win considering the lack of experience in the side, just highlights how strong the depth is in ODIs/T20
