Swindon - Leicester Sep 1st

Recommended Posts

Leicester visit this thursday and this is a must win meeting for Swindon if we want any hopes of getting to the play offs, otherwise this may well be our last home meeting this season, subject to what the Inter-league challenge on Sep 15th is.

The Robins need to up their game and if they all ride as they can we can get three points but with some of the riders being inconsistent anything could happen.

Leicester shocked us bigtime earlier in the season so nothing should be taken for granted here. The reserves are a concern for us at the moment and Toft who along with Auty could outscore ours.Saying that Auty has been poor at the Abbey lately so we might get away with it.A home win but this might not be easy i am worried about our reserves and Sedgy fingers crossed we can creep over the line for the playoffs.

I wouldn't worry, lightening can't strike twice.

Can it?

Wishful thinking from Rosco as fully expect Lakeside to get 4 points at Kings Lynn & then we'd need something at Belle Vue or Lakeside.

Reckon lakeside will pick up a point, which will likely mean swindon needing a point away to make the playoffs.

Would like to see swindon make play offs, always had a soft spot for the Robins, fans seem a good bunch and certainly can't be accused of being glory hunters.

Rose a fair loss for them with the form he's shown Sarjent in, ouch. Schlein replaced by Porsing could be about the same and Batchelor been missing all season oh and no Simon Lambert obviously

King in for Nilsson which could i say could swing things for Lakeside although the Swede has been pretty impressive at times , guess for Lakeside it all depends on which EK turns up and if Bridger turns up at all

If Bridger rides anything like he did at Coventry then I'd say there's not much chance.
