Currently we average 40.28.

Where do you get that from as the bspa site says 49.62 and the limit is 50, so if Emil goes who has an average of 4.39 we have approx 4.77 based on latest green sheets.

Weren't we promised a new more accurate set of averages from May 1st?

We needed a couple of riders to have bad scores in April, but that did not happen. Not very good planning from the management as a team does not get to the play offs with the points it gets in April .

Got the 40.28 from adding up the averages on the Swindon website on their Robins statistics page.

Ok but there has not been an adjusted team limit announced yet so it is difficult to work out how many points we have spare.

Now Emils average from the website is 3.24 which if mult by 1.4 comes to 4.54 for the present 50 point limit, whereas on the bspa gs he has 4.39, so he has increased his average.

Who knows?

New averages can only be made when all riders have had 4H 4A tho anyway?

It was mentioned somewhere but I am not sure by who that if there were going to be rider changes that they might need to change all the clubs and riders averages at the same time otherwise it would be extremely complicated to know who could replace who and what averages would be used to see what room a club had. If they leave the team calculations till each rider has had 4h and 4a rides it would be chaos as some clubs would be on the old system and others on the new, this could also apply to riders who have missed a meeting or two . So as usual with the bspa no one has a clue as to what is going on.

Yes I recall that too. As usual it's make it up as you go along.

Think we would be better sticking with the team we have at present. Likely to have more to play with after visits to BV and Wolves. Especially the latter where we normally spend all night visiting the dog track on bend 2.
