waiheke1 4,295 Posted November 8, 2016 Not going to get into an argument about it but where in the statement did it mention rolling averages?. It didn't & he didn't ride enough Premier League meetings in 2016 to get an average. A great loophole & fair play to Poole for it. Just as much a joke that Klindt rode more Elite League meetings than Premier but they use the Premier average. It's just a sad thing that a young Brit hasn't benefited. Not sure how people can argue here. official greensheets are always based on rolling averages. Brady rode for Plymouth last season. Number of meetings is irrelevant once they decided to base everything on pl.As it is, based on last years El performances Klindt is the stand out bargain. b kurtz is still only mid range for value, in fact not dissimilar to Ellis. Crazy robin 2,963 Posted November 8, 2016 Darcy all the way without a shadow of a doubt. Chris hasn't been the same though since his and Darcy's accident which is understandable, but prior to these incidents I always thought Darcy looked the better. His foresight and control of the bike was unrivaled. Great example being the play off semi final 2nd leg vs kings lynn. Maybe in his league racing Chris has struggled a bit but he has looked very good in the GP's. As expected yet another anomaly exploited by a promotion. Brady started the season as a declared EL rider and not a PL rider. He is lucky that he did double up later in the season otherwise he would be saddled with an average that be difficult to get a place with. Still, it's great news the new rules look after an Aussie and potentially penalise a Brit tho eh? The same as Klindt though Steve who rode in more Elite than Premier & dropped out of the Premier. It was simple that if a rider wasn't riding Premier League at the end of 2016 then his Elite average should count.

Poole isn't exactly top of his priorities, form was good in Poland as well yet apart from last 2 months he was pretty average over here. Hans was our best rider up to June.

stevebrum 6,819 Posted November 8, 2016 Coming from a supporter who's club puts Swedish riders before British ones. Why don't you drop Masters/Thorssell and sign Ellis? I'm not quite sure how to put this to you in a way you might understand but as of yet we haven't declared any riders for 2017. as for signing British riders and helping them develop..... you must have forgot the double world champion. easy mistake to make I guess. Should have ridden in PL then! loving the sympathy. The same as Klindt though Steve who rode in more Elite than Premier & dropped out of the Premier. It was simple that if a rider wasn't riding Premier League at the end of 2016 then his Elite average should count. Fair play CR another anomaly with no common sense applied. Part of me hopes he rewards Leicester by staying but on his average he must be a likely at his parent club.

foreverblue 6,055 Posted November 8, 2016 With fans like you ....... Lisa has a point though, why he didn't ride PL is a mystery, we all knew he was too good for NL.
Steve0 5,517 Posted November 8, 2016 Should have ridden in PL then! Well he didn't have a crystal ball and thought that being an EDR (on lower points money) was worth a go to show his talent - which he did in abundance. His reward (like many Poole riders after their first season) - there's the door and we are replacing you with a Johnny Foreigner!

Plus I said apart from last two months, there was a point just before half way through the season when he was nearly reserve! Lol. Well he didn't have a crystal ball and thought that being an EDR (on lower points money) was worth a go to show his talent - which he did in abundance. His reward (like many Poole riders after their first season) - there's the door and we are replacing you with a Johnny Foreigner!Swindon are free to sign him! He hasn't been screwed over, he made a decision not to ride PL and it backfired.
