gee jay 234 Posted November 2, 2016 mike bowden has said plymouth will be in the premier next season if he's in charge. we went with all this from lakeside last season and they dropped out of the running late on so don't hold your breath with them.

gee jay 234 Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Do you mean National League? i didn't when i posted , but i've just been reading the plymouth website and i had got it completely backwards i thought mike bowden said he wanted to stay in the P.L. but as you've pointed out he will take them into the N.L. thanks. I thought he said he would only go NL. Surely if Lakeside we're going PL they would have declared their intention and attended the PL AGM Edited November 2, 2016 by TMW
gee jay 234 Posted November 2, 2016 I thought he said he would only go NL. Surely if Lakeside we're going PL they would have declared their intention and attended the PL AGM he did indeed , as said in no 8 post , i got it completely backwards about plymouth . all i was saying about lakeside was that they were going to have a n.l. team last year but never did so . never mentioned that they were entering p.l. uk_martin 1,606 Posted November 3, 2016 Belle Vue now has to be a doubt. Coventry have secured a lease for the stadium but who knows if they can afford to run the NL team with only two men and a dog in regular attendance there plus some away fans. Mildenhall - how long can they hold out with the cost of that legal action hanging over them? Birmingham - I'd be more interested in who the promoter will be who will be buying the club from Tony Mole, than anything else at the moment. Kings Lynn - I thought that I heard that they wouldn't be running a Young Stars team in 2017 Lakeside - is their situation based on hope or on any fact? Little Thumper 528 Posted November 4, 2016 I find it hard to believe that Belle Vue will have a presence in the National League next year. But I don't suppose it will be called the National League any more now that re-branding is the flavour of the month.
