Peter Karlsson Farewell Meeting - Pk The Final Word Sunday March 19th 5pm

Recommended Posts

Hurry was up Correy's exhaust pipe for a couple of bends in one of the heats, thought that was gonna end in tears

That was the race that amazed me when Ronnie dropped it over him into Turn 1, he wasn't having him come by!

Remember when Ronnie Correy rode 'thru' Nigel De'ath where there was no gap causing Nigel to crash thus picking up an injury. Nigel was just starting to make head way after a sometimes tough baptism in 1986 and the injury set him back.

I've been catching up with the Swedish speedway and it looks like this wasn't a farewell meeting after all?

You need a proper brass neck to pull it off but Swindon set the trend with their farewell to the abbey meeting so good luck to pk I say, it looked like he put the money towards a new gtr engine.

By the way, who was the pillock who tweeted the commentator that he wanted his money back? So much for the final word, lol!

I wasn't the pillock, but it was a humorous tweet.

Good luck to you PK. He hasn't come out of retirement and wobbled around at the back. He's scored well at reserve and is now in the top 5. I know I'm an old fogey but I'm enjoying seeing an "old favourite" competing in a league where we're seeing Magic, Emil, Tai and half the GP circus competing. And he's holding his own. Good on yer Peter. Long may you continue (Wolverhampton next year?))

I typed his name into Facebook and by coincidence a wolves fan by that name came up (a friend of someone on here as well!) and I agree, judging by the content he must need a massive sense of humour. Ha ha!

I'm surprised you didn't leave my comment "good luck to pk" in the quoted post, but I see you posted it yourself anyway, thanks. I'm sure most wolves fans are looking forward to the next 'final word'.

As far as I was aware he was just giving up the UK and still planned to ride Poland and Sweden when it suited???

So what if he has already had his testimonials???? It's not like he will be getting anymore when he does finally hang up the boots!!!

Plus it's not like he wouldn't be due one as a loyal servant to all 3 leagues.

Some people trying to make a mountain out of a molehill I see.

FWIW it's great to see PK back racing, he won't come back here I doubt very much.

Makes you wonder why he sent the 'I want my money back' tweet given pk was always going to continue riding in Sweden.

It looks like my character assessment was spot on.

Some people eh?
