Mark 1,497 Posted December 2, 2016 There is nothing in Krsko worth seeing or staying overnight for. A day trip by train is the best option from a big town like Zagreb or Ljubljana.

Done Krsko by train from staying in Zagreb- but for me staying at Terme Catez is best. Drove from Ljubljana in 2016 and visited the superb Postojna caves on the way back to the airport http://www.postojnska-jama.eu/en/home/

pugwash 3,208 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) Been to Slovenian GP many times. Love the country. Staying in Krsko bit like staying in Sellafield. Prefer to hire a car and stay in Maribor. Very nice. Edited January 7, 2017 by pugwash

SPEEDY69 1,238 Posted January 15, 2017 I am going to this this year. We have one night in the capital then two in Lasko. I am hoping that driving to the track and parking will be a simple affair?

Beer sales and food are all situated just outside the stadium.

WembleyLion 407 Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) Thanks, let's hope the weather is ok this early in the year - last one I went to was the rain off in Riga! Yes indeed I remember Riga very well as I was looking at a mostly bone dry track whilst rumours were spreading it was going to be called off in the next hour or so (and shifted to Daugavpils the next day) due to poor track preparation (blocked drains) which had left a swampy strip on the inside of one of the bends. Still it made for an exciting adventure the following day! Edited April 5, 2017 by WembleyLion

racers and royals 8,697 Posted April 22, 2017 I think it probably only is Tai Woffinden- but with the weather in Poland recently he will be riding in Krsko without riding in a competitive match in 2017. He obviously will have tested and practised a fair bit but will he be at a disadvantage to his competitors ?

This looks to be a decent local site https://www.yr.no/place/Slovenia/Kr%C5%A1ko/Kr%C5%A1ko/long.html they might just be ok- although practice on Friday could be off.
