uk_martin 1,606 Posted January 18, 2017 I think Tony A deserves a pass... A bus pass?
mikebv 10,272 Posted January 20, 2017 Matches V Plymouth will be like an OAP outing Could be a first for British Speedway.... A meeting where the average age of the two teams is actually higher than the average age of those watching.....!!! Well its one way of attracting the 'younger crowd' so many say Speedway is missing !!!
Jonnybegood 257 Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) The average age of the six signed riders for Plymouth Devils is 24.66........I would love to see a crowd consisting of peoples who's average age below this ........ lol Edited January 20, 2017 by Mark Phillips

szkocjasid 3,022 Posted February 1, 2017 I think Stoke have got a good team this year. A top 3 who can score decent points home and away, while the others can all chip in with a few points too!

Sings4Speedway 3,247 Posted February 17, 2017 As ever Stoke have a good top 3 but probably little back up unless Tedham hits a purple patch. I get that they want a dependable side as a stand alone club but riders like Speight have been there, done it and not really done very much, ditto Wallinger. RTD could still keep slowly improving but the others looked to have peaked / be on the way down.
uk_martin 1,606 Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Stoke are taking the mick... Stoke Potters 1. A 27 year old 2. A 36 year old 3. A 32 year old 4. A 22 year old 5. A 51 year old 6. A 37 year old 7. A 32 year old Combined ages of the seven riders = 237 Average age per rider = 33yrs & 11 months I previously asked if there is a record for the oldest ever team? I'm sure that Tatum and Vatcher are holding the NL to ridicule over this team. The BSPA should see sense and refuse authorisation for it, er, "in the best interests of British Speedway" Edited February 17, 2017 by uk martin
pete cc 322 Posted February 17, 2017 It was sarcasm. Sarcasm it was from me to. I will still go most weeks as i will watch speedway any where & when. This team may be old but, without it there would be one less track & team for the younger riders to visit & ride against.
WalterPlinge 657 Posted February 17, 2017 I'm sure that Tatum and Vatcher are holding the NL to ridicule over this team. What's it got to do with Tatum and Vatcher? As long as the Stoke team is built within the rules it's no one's business but Stoke's which riders they use.
