Prediction Time

Recommended Posts

I predict it could be unpredictable this season at least until June which is good!

Just had a count up and 8 of the 12 teams have been predicted to get in the top 4 by different posters. Again sums up the fact it should be more open this year than the previous 2, which I think is great news for the NL.

I think belle vue will walk the league,I agree with most of what your saying and all im getting at in my posts is that we will not be bottom of the league nothing else you may be right on boxall and Compton but there averages won't drop that much they will be bottom of the league as I've said before Plymouth is a very tricky track for a first timer visiting and that alone may win us a lot of meetings.

My Turn

Depending on injuries,i see this finish. / Then playoffs.

1 Cradley

2 B V / Cov

3 Kent

4 Birmingham

5 Eastbourne

6 Kings Lynn

7 Buxton

8 Mildenhall

9 Lakeside

10 I O W

11 Stoke

12 Plymouth

Playoffs

Cradley v Birmingham

B V / Cov v Kent

Birmingham v B V / Cov FINAL

As i said i think it will all go down to injuries and available guests.

switch Kent with Eastbourne and that would be my guess

Mike0310 I get the impression you think the Devils won't be bottom..... lol

Although I have to say I ll be very surprised if anyone but Stoke get the wooden spoon.

Mellish seems pretty involved with the Colts so far so it seems likely that he'll get a team spot and the Woodhull twins unofficially share another.

Bickley should be one of the genuine stars next season, along with Brennan & Jenkins. But even when he moves up, a top 5 of him, Bewley, Shuttleworth, Payne & Smith is enough to beat most teams before even accounting for the reserves scores. Whilst Mellish isn't poor by any means, even if the twins struggle initially. I think their let down will be when they face stronger sides at the end of the season who can match their heat leaders and if they have a lot of fixture clashes because they have 3 riders doubling-up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Payne end the season in the Championship.

Whatever the results it will be a great joy to watch this (predicted) young Colts team progress over the season.I am looking forward to both the aces/Colts season ahead but at the moment the Colts are giving me more of a buzz for the coming season really looking forward to watching their talent grow over the season ahead.Roll on April.

i think stevebrums predition is about right apart from I'd put Plymouth where lakeside are and I would say it's a pretty good prediction.

Thanks Mike0310. The bottom 5 look slightly weaker to me but I echo some of the other predictions in that I think it will be a much more open league this year.

I've got Cradley as front runners with Birmingham, Kings Lynn, Mildenhall and Plymouth as contenders, as Belle Vue have not named a side I will refrain judgement but the word on here suggests they will also be in the reckoning, so that's your top six in some order.

But if I must put the all in some order I will go

1. Cradley Heath

2. Birmingham

3. Mildenhall

4. Belle Vue

5. Plymouth

6. Kings Lynn

7. Stoke

8. Kent Kings

9. Eastbourne

10. Lakeside

11. Isle of Wight

12. Buxton

If the Warriors finish 2 places behind Eastbourne, then I'll be happy.
