Noodles 1,337 Posted April 23, 2017 I take your point. My personal preference would be to pick two younger riders with limited international experience, as they may gain something from the event and the result in itself will not really matter.Should be Cook & Lambert.

flagrag 704 Posted June 2, 2017 TV coverage rights are being offered but have heard that the rights holders want silly money for this so unlikely to be shown in the U.K
2ndbendbeerhut 1,781 Posted June 2, 2017 The UK broadcasters are used to getting speedway for free so any payment would be silly money.....

flagrag 704 Posted June 2, 2017 Not sure about App & Website I think a lot will depend if the tv rights are brought in the UK as they were offering it as exclusive rights. The problem with the coatings is that the people selling the rights do not have experience or the correct value of Speedway not just in the U.K. but worldwide so have been asking the sort of money a broadcaster would look to pay for say a Premiership football match

Noodles 1,337 Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) So every nation bar one running with their strongest line up... TeamGB have picked the strongest line up they can from the riders that want to represent their country. Edited June 3, 2017 by Noodles
SCB 0 Posted June 3, 2017 A question about the selected countries? Who come they have choosen Germany over USA. PL, DK, SE, AU and GB are the five biggest speedway countries (in m opinion) and Russia will probably have good chance here but why as I said earlier Germany over USA? I would guess that Hancock together with some other americans could get more points then Smolinski and some other german could. And wouldnt including the US be more in the "Olympic Spirit" with more parts of the world represented? Three continents instead of two? Hancock? You assume he'd turn up. He only cares about himself. So every nation bar one running with their strongest line up...Yeah, I was surprised Australia picked Holder too.
