Poole Pirates Vs Rye House Rockets 10/5/17

Recommended Posts

Rye won't be as tough as some think IMO.

We won't lose. All 3 league points will be coming our way.

Think we will win by 10 at least. 50-40, 51-39 something like that

Suits me fine. I'd rather go down there as underdogs

Rye have some Poole track specialists, and perks looked useful at the u21s. I think it will be a closely fought contest, with poole edging it at the end by 4-6.

My point, which you missed, was that someone said Bjerre was the best rider on current form, which I disagree with and think that Lindgren is.

Thats your opinion of course.

Nah, thats ok. but thanks anyway..

You wouldn't want the most in form and top rider this season to guest????

Deal.

Garrity is available next time you come calling.

Great guest probably the best rider in the Premiership on current form.

Bjerres not even the one most in form riders in his own team! That's Craig Cook who is flying at the moment.

Can't see us ever using Garrity again! Wouldn't have a problem using fast Fred though.

Wouldn't it have meant flying Freddie in, whereas Kenneth is UK-based?!!

You saying Matt Ford always goes for the cheaper option!

with the size of crowds so far this season he will have to consider options!

Yeah, the crowd on BH Monday against Swindon was pretty bad really. Hopefully better on Weds with a decent weather forecast.

correct lisa i was told only 1200 for swindon, odd time of day but im pretty confident the reason for this yrs low crowds is twofold, firstly darcys meeting done immense damage to customer confidence and secondly the dust levels have deterred many spectators from coming back(diehards excluded) still soon as the holidaymakers arrive with their bulging pockets of cash and kids to keep happy the place will be rammed

agree darcy meeting and dust have done big damage to crowd level's. I don't think holidaymakers come to speedway like they used to anyway

The lower than expected BH attendance v Swindon was as much to do with the weather forecasted and the hail/rain storm at 4pm (gates due to open at 4.30) than anything else!! I had several messages from fans who were going to attend but simply didn't think the meeting would be concluded!!

(Having witnessed the performance - I wish it hadn't been concluded!!) ;-)

No because there is far more to do nowadays, than there was in the 60's 70's.
