Ghostwalker 1,858 Posted May 15, 2017 Tomorrow is the 2nd round of this year's Elitserien and the televised meeting will be Masarna - Elit Vetlanda which is broadcasted live by C more and Premier sports. The meetings starts at 19.00 Swedish time. Masarna - Elit Vetlanda Masarna Tai Woffinden Linus Sundström Przemyslaw Pawlicki Kim Nilsson Antonio Lindbäck Joel Andersson Artur Czaja Elit Vetlanda Martin Vaculik Jonas Davidsson Jarek Hampel Tomas H Jonasson Bartosz Zmarzlik Szymon Wozniak Oliver Berntzon Dackarna - Lejonen Dackarna Patryk Dudek Kacper Gomolski Fredrik Lindgren Maciej Janowski Peter Ljung Anders Thomsen Joel Kling Lejonen Piotr Pawlicki Maksym Drabik Chris Holder Krystian Pieszczek Hans Andersen Magnus Karlsson Mathias Thörnblom Indianerna - Rospiggarna Indianerna Adrian Miedzinski Vacalav Milik Nicolai Klindt. Milik is injured and is replaced by Klindt. Piotr Protasiewicz Viktor Palovaara Kenneth Bjerre Ludvig Lindgren Bjarne Pedersen Rospiggarna Max Fricke Timo Lahti Andreas Jonsson (K) Jacob Thorssell Jason Doyle Robert Miskowiak Nicklas Porsing Eskilstuna Smederna - PiraternaEskilstuna Smederna Michael Jepsen Jensen (K) Mikkel Michelsen Matej Zagar Pontus Aspgren Grigorij Laguta Linus Eklöf Andrej Karpov Piraterna Greg Hancock Damian Balinski Emil Sajfutdinov Peter Kildemand Niels Kristian Iversen Daniel Henderson Daniel Davidsson I haven't seen that much speedway so far and I don't really know how the riders have performed so far this season which makes it a bit hard to do a real in-depth analysis. Masarna - Vetlanda. Not so good form for Lindbäck and Pz Pawlicki but I think Masarna will prevail. Dackarna - Lejonen. Should be a clear victory for Dackarna, I can't see Lejonen being able to defeat Dackarna at Dackarna's track. Indianerna - Rospiggarna. Should be an easy victory for Rospiggarna. Smederna - Piraterna. If Aspgren can ride without a problem (broken finger) and if the rest of Smederna brings their best performacethen Smederna might have a decent chance but I think Piraterna look stronger despite weak reserves. It will be interesting to see though, if and how much the track changes at Smedstadion will affect the racing quality. Live results will be at svemo.se/speedway as usual. racers and royals 8,712 Posted May 15, 2017 do I remember Daniel Henderson riding for Smederna ?
Ghostwalker 1,858 Posted May 16, 2017 (edited) do I remember Daniel Henderson riding for Smederna ? Yeah that is correct. Daniel and his brother Robert are originally from Stockholm and started their career with Gamarna. When Robert moved up to 500cc, the family moved to Eskilstuna and they started riding for Smederna. How many have we got riding in the English league !! just 4 Says a lot in my view. It does, financial problems and young Swedish riders getting side stepped for foreign riders. Imo Swedish speedway is on the verge of collapse due to overpaid riders and neglection of the younger Swedish riders.
