To be fair our own three didn't do too bad despite what some on here think, Branford apart the guests were rubbish.

allthegearbutnaeidea 1,734 Posted May 22, 2017 The only rider Gapp should of beat was Hopwood which he was until he fell? He was NEVER going to beat any of the Newcastle top 5 around Brough.
screm 8,052 Posted May 22, 2017 Yes but the trouble was we expected him to race. Â By his own admission Brough Park is not one of Danny`s favourite tracks, but he did step in at short notice and gave it a go, ok he could've done better but with the time and average Peterborough had tp play with Gappmaier was one of the better options.

balderdash&piffle 720 Posted May 23, 2017 I am greatful P/Boro gave the Gapp the chance, it's not his favourite track, so to get a practice on it, gives the Bandits a better chance when he next rides there.
happyvalleywoolerman 44 Posted May 23, 2017 Saturday was a big relief with a tremendous comeback from six down to ten up over eight races after Doolan and Howe woke up with Nick Morris a total number 1 at last and the covers were again the thing that proved Berwick are the leaders in so many ways. With so many restarts it all took a while to run and we'd have hoped for more interviews during the gaps and wondered what has happened to Steve Hayward? At least he has hopefully got over his crash there at the start of the season which put him out our KOC matches with Ipswich.
