Bandits V Panthers 20/5/17

Recommended Posts

He's actually not bad at our place... Ostergaard too! Hence why I won't be surprised to see a tight score!

There good round the EOES aswell but been less than average this season, so can't see them scoring much. Explains why we had Hansen riding at #2 now, he was never going to ride!

I think something like:

Bjerre 11

R/R

Lambert 2

Ully 8

Starke 8

Morris 10

Bacon 0

Dunno about the rain easing off it is very steady and heavier at the moment. The only problem I see is when the covers are taken off all the water on them has to go somewhere, the only place is on the track. FINGERS CROSSED

If the weather/ rain is coming from a westerly direction then I'm sorry to say there's more on its way it's still pretty wet her just outside Gala and showing little signs of stopping any time soon unfortunately

The rain is to stop around five o clock, can't see any problems with this meeting not going ahead,

Without covers this meeting would have definitely been postponed

At least you can get under cover at Gala bingo.

Let it rain and get the changes made asap and go with a full team

Weather has closed in now, rain continues to fall. If it stops as forecast they the meeting will be on but if we get to 5 or 6 o`clock and we still have this rain it will be next to pointless to take them off as its doubtful we would see a full meeting.

That's the bit that worries me are the changes going to be any better than what we already have. Last seasons end of season changes, was a total disaster bringing in the 3 H's

If it goes ahead it should be another tough one for Berwick, the Peterborough team is full of riders who seem to specialise around Shielfield, Ostergaard, Lambert and Starke all go really well there, as does Lasse Bjerre normally.

I've said it before and I continue to say it, full marks for the promotion / workers / volunteers for covering the track and giving every possible chance for the meeting to go ahead. it's already worked a couple of times this season. Obviously nothing you can do if it is still raining come match time, but they are doing all they can do.

Meeting will be on, Berwick to notch up their First win of the league season. Can't make it due to other commitments, but I'd be driving down for this historic meeting if not.

Berwicks season to start rolling in earnest tonight. 53 - 38

They have to be,the bit that worries me is that we have exactly the same problem as we had at this time last season. Lessons weren't learnt.

The changes would've been fine last season if Ostergaard wasn't riding his infamous flymos and we had signed the right reserves. We don't seem very good at team building.

In fact i would have started the season top heavy again this year like the likes of Glasgow, Sheffield and Ipswich have done.
