Crazy ruling yet again from the FIM.OK we got the benefit, but total bonkers

I see the FIME have decided to go with a race average to decide who goes through in the Euro team U21 and not the best 2nd placed score.Sweden got an average of 1.5 from daugavpils,so Germany or whoever finishs second in the other semi final have to match or beat that.Germany only have to match that average as they have a better ranking having finished ahead of Sweden in last years comp.Seems a better way of deciding?

Abensberg on Saturday- Germany,Czech Rep, Norway and Denmark

GB would have still gone through in the world u21 team- scored 40 from 20 heats in 2nd place- whereas Sweden scored 17 from 10 in 2nd in Esbjerg

That is why they are thinking second place with a decnt race average is a good possibility

That's 30 points required from the 20 heats for the runners-up at the Abensberg meeting to reach the final.

Not sure what the weather is like, but if Germany get two points from the first heat then call the meeting off, they are through

So with all 8 SGB Premiership clubs having fixtures on Friday 1st September, I presume there will be a few gaps in their team line-ups, with riders having to get to Rybnik by Saturday morning. Aussie Jack Holder already announced as missing from Poole at Somerset.

And that's why Robert Lambert was gonna miss the Rye House meeting at Lynn Wednesday night nothing to do with him faking a reacurrance of his knee injury getting ready to travel to Poland
