For their massive efforts and getting on with their speedway careers without making a "song and dance", would absolutely love one of the Worrall brothers to win and make Cardiff as a wildcard. looking at the lineup no reason for this not to happen !

Steve over Rich please and it's a deal, Lawson on cracking form could be a dark long haired horse.

I hope bomber wins it as he has been a so loyal to British speedway and deserves his day out at Cardiff.

King for me to re-visit Cardiff! Back to Back wins would really cement his deserved status in UK speedway.

Cook has a difficult first ride and his second one he meets King, Howarth and Lawson. Get those 2 out of the way and he will be looking good.

Bomber wont win it he struggles at the NSS.

Cook deserves the title as runner up the last 3 years.

Can't deny the bit about being loyal and a good servant to British speedway but surely he's had MORE than his fair share of "deserved" days out at Cardiff in the past few years when he has been an embarassment in the GP series?!

the winner on the night deserves it,

and thank god no wildcards, you either qualify/put yourself in a position to qualify or you don't.

Don't see any future World stars in that line up.

And that is the sad bit. With the World Cup looming there seems little point in managing to qualify for the Final ( if we do ) as we would not pull up many trees in Poland with any of these. If Cook is ever going to do it on the world stage he needs to get on with it - he can't forever claim to be a late starter. Lambert will probably cut the mustard but of course he is not in this one. There are so few that can do - as Doyle did , late in his career step up to world class.

Nope, the only one we've got isn't in it. Still, there's always the Aussie at the back-end of his career to cheer on.

Doyle is 32 whereas .Cook is 30.

Doyle has only recently begun to be a force to be reckoned with in the SGP

So there is no reason to think that Craig Cook can't follow in his footsteps.Craig is 10 races away from the SGP.
