Swindon V Somerset Bank Holiday Monday At 5.00

Recommended Posts

Means 47%chance of rain

Can't use new averages until All teams have completed 4+4, until then its the original 50pts aves that apply

Not strictly true as rules state that BSPA can if averages not attained by 1st May then BSPA can impose averages based on actual rides. Not at sure as to when this likely to happen as we are way past that date.

Not sure when Scunthorpe was called off today, but does that mean Lewis Kerr comes back into the side if he can make it?

Robin's site says new date for meeting to be announced later. Why didn't they just re-arrange it for Thursday, it's a reserved date!

Blo##y forecasts, all over the place, no rain forecast from 3 and it poured down.

The rain stopped and the riders were told if there was no more rain the start would be delayed till 6pm, a couple said they would be prepared to hang on for a 7pm start, even though a couple had put their bikes back in their vans and one or two had not even got them out. The pumps were clearing the water on bend 3 but about 3.45 it poured down again so the ref called the meeting off.

No meetings for weeks & thinking of a double header is madness, surely?.

This season is getting to be a joke! At this rate the new averages won't come in until after the cut-off date for team changes!

And frustratingly looking like it's brightening up now ...can remember once when it emptied down about 6.45 Rosco helped with pumping the first corners off and Leigh I think set his track record!

Spot on. Remember it well but that was before riders decided that wet tracks were too dangerous!
