Recommended Posts

Its certainly a great deal of luck for the Robins!

Perhaps you make your own luck?

Jason, Nick, Dany, Brady, Troy or R/R & I'd still be thinking a Wolves win.

Have lost all enthusiasm for this season as no ambition from Rosco in not sourcing new riders & now dodgy illnesses.

If this was Poole we'd all be furious so because it's Swindon it still stinks.

The sport is in chaos everyone trying to manipulate the rules at every opportunity .Fans are voting with their feet thesedays.

Agreed...I know fans are now walking with there feet instead of just putting up with it.

There came a time when some supporters went regardless, as they felt they needed to support the Club for fear of them folding, especially in the current climate.

However...it feels like we are watching the same old riders, riding for different teams, week in week out.

The sooner we go to one big league and a 'Development' league the better imo.

If it means dropping the level again....so be it...but there isn't much difference now tbh.

Just fed up watching the same riders all the time.

Luckily Brady Kurtz just happened to be available to guest in place of Morris. What are the chances?

Is this meeting taking place at the new stadium or are still at the old one?

No dodgy illness - I have it on good authority (OK I've made it up) that Dany was round Rosco's last night for tea and he came down with a severe stomach bug afterwards - although everyone else in the Rossiter household is absolutely fine

Is a medical certificate required ? If so Wolves should ask to see, or ride under protest. I have every sympathy with Swindon for their injury problems but this new scenario seems very dodgy.

Haven't been for a while so perhaps the new stadium is now in place.

Perhaps it was delivered and clicked into place at the weekend.

It does seem dodgy as many (including myself) have said. But he may actually be genuinely ill. I think it balances up the teams again and Swindon may now even have a chance of winning! For a team built around a top 2 and both to be out would have made it even more unbalanced but good luck to the best team on their win tonight!

Whilst things seem a bit fishy, for all we know Dany may have a virus. But as it happens with Kurtz coming in isn't this what most speedway fans want. Two competetive teams going at it.Let's be honest had the latest change not happened it would have been such a one sided affair which would have impacted on the crowd. And speedway can ill afford that at the moment.

There was talk by a member of the management that when the new stadium was built that they would want to hold the World Cup there. What they did not realise was that there will be limited parking and numbers allowed in by the H&S has been slashed.

Swindon still weaker with number 2 and 3 in Premier averages out, Wolves stronger. Will go 50-42 to Wolves.

yes a medical certificate is required and he is unable to ride for 7 days without permission of the MC so that should rule him out of Berwicks meeting on Sunday.

Concussion rules are there for a reason. Head injuries should be taken seriously. Rosco has no business even trying to get Morris back sooner. Sometimes, people need to be protected from themselves,

No one is arguing about that but the rule does not make sense. If it's designed to protect the rider, there should be no arbitrary number of days. It should be based on medical evidence, whilst one rider might be ok in 9 days, another might be nowhere fit. The criteria should be consultation with a qualified head injury specialist & a scan taken. This has happened in Nick's case & the scan shows no injury & the doctor said he was fit to ride.
