BluPanther 21,637 Posted July 4, 2017 Group A looks weak in comparison to B. Getting the old excuse in early I see
northyorksbear 609 Posted July 4, 2017 Group A looks weak in comparison to B. Agree - but due to Cook being missing - otherwise groups would have been a lot more even!
TheScotsman 2,482 Posted July 4, 2017 Getting the old excuse in early I see Nope - being realistic. As northyorksbear says - the lack of Cookie makes it the weaker group.
Cue Ball 413 Posted July 4, 2017 I think they are fairly even - from a Sheffield perspective I wouldn't have wanted to come up against Glasgow, Peterborough or Ipswich, likewise I doubt many teams would want to come up against Edinburgh, Newcastle or Sheffield. I suppose Workington and Scunny are marginally weaker than Redcar & Berwick, but I wouldn't have thought there was much in it
cheekycobra 159 Posted July 4, 2017 I wouldnt say Redcar are weak. True we will be missing Garrity, but dont forget Barker in the British championships and Somerset has been Wrights home track for a number of seasons.
racers and royals 8,697 Posted July 4, 2017 (edited) Robert Lambert and Jack Holder could have some equipment difficulties as their best Equipment needs to be in Poznan 1st thing Sunday morning for the world U21 1st round . Gavan 5,049 Posted July 4, 2017 Group A looks weak in comparison to B. Dont agree 3 of the strongest sides are in group A. Glasgow, Peterborough and Ipswich Of the other group i think Newcastle are clear favourites then either Sheffield or Redcar for runners up
diamond@heart 399 Posted July 4, 2017 Robert Lambert and Jack Holder could have some equipment difficulties as their best Equipment needs to be in Poznan 1st thing Sunday morning for the world U21 1st round . Is it not just a case of jumping on a flight with your favoured engine(s) and having it/them put into a frame in Poland?
