fliss44 346 Posted July 20, 2017 What a shame -- Coventry work hard to find riders for a challenge match and it's not like points in the league are involved.I had swapped shifts at work for this so very disappointed. Ah well.

Woz01 3,589 Posted July 20, 2017 Meeting would've gone ahead if Leicester hadnt been unlucky with injuries. They've stated they want to run the fixture at some point.

Woz01 3,589 Posted July 20, 2017 Never going to happen. It would've went ahead had it not been for injuries. They are not going to make the play offs so will have to fill September with some meetings.
Big Al 708 Posted July 21, 2017 It would've went ahead had it not been for injuries. They are not going to make the play offs so will have to fill September with some meetings. And neither are Rye House so there should be no problem for getting a Cov team sorted. Can even include KK now he's been sacked by Poole.
Fundinfan 41 Posted July 28, 2017 Absolutely throwing it down in Uttoxeter so good news that it's off tonight. Let's hope that September will bring forth the cancelled challenges at Rye House and Leicester plus others if possible. We need to keep the Bees name prominent in the speedway world and for hopes of a track return of some kind next season
Woz01 3,589 Posted September 7, 2017 Bees name Nicholls, Schlein, Howarth, Roynon and Jacobs for the meeting now on Sept 17th

stevethelion 192 Posted September 13, 2017 Hans Andersen riding for the Bees, looks like a pretty strong line-up for them.
Gemini 4,894 Posted September 13, 2017 Blimey that Coventry team looks pretty strong so hopefully Lions will get a good guest for the missing Pole. Incidentally it looks at the moment as if there is no extra charge for the British Youth Championship that follows this match which is just as well because there may be problems with the 4 hour limit in the car park.
