Hope you enjoyed the years you got in. I doubt there will be any left post Ford. Not with the way this joke of a league is going.

Many good years and memories and many more to come on my travels next year hopefully.

Well Woryna is on 4.65 as now confirmed in the echo last week.

Nothing has been confirmed officially by the BSPA and averages for the new season and team building have not been released.

Pure speculation still.

Newman will score points at No.6 that's a given but he wont score well in the 1-5 and that defeats the object.

But then Bates should be scoring for fun at reserve...

He does the majority of the time. All about the scoring in the 1-5.

Like I said Newman will always get you points at reserve but then his average will go up a fair bit and then that would put him in the 1-5 and its a whole different story then.

Key to building a winning team is to have riders who will score consistently week in and week out no matter what position they ride at.

Woryna for example.

if he has a 4.65 average then he will start at reserve and score big.

When he does move out of reserve he would be more than capable of scoring points @ No.2 or 4. IMO.

So further developments at the Wimborne Road club see the appointment of a new Dorset-based PR company - Curious Frog Media - who will be responsible for all 'public relations and social media output'!!

The company is run by the former Sports Editor and Deputy Editor of the local Echo newspaper, who was also responsible for co-ordinating the Matchday programmes a few seasons ago, so he has a good understanding of the club's standing locally and beyond.

Seems as though Kings Lynn aren't the only ones doing things differently in 2018?! :t::t: Lets hope the website is next on the list to be updated and made more user-friendly. You never know we may even get the Fans Forum back............................................?!?:D

This is a good thing. What are they actually going to do to the full extent. Do we actually know what they are going to do??

Good to see the club is making it more professional. They just need to tidy up the website a little bit.

it seems matt has identified and is trying to resolve a definite weakness in the team as a certain member of the promotion was a serious liability in the "public relations" arena in fact any sphere of relations!!

My post above about the PR company was taken from the Business News pages of today's Bournemouth Echo. It appears on facebook too in the 'Speedway around the Bend' group

Shanes has signed for Sheffield.

This is good news for Poole as we all know he will be back and getting more rides in the Championship can only help us.

Good on him for signing in the Championship.

good club to join i think for james and simon stead appears to have quickly developed a real ability to work with riders of all levels,so would expect a yr of improvement now, like many people have said it would be good for him to give speedway a real go,best of luck shane.(did we decide which club hes an asset of?)

Fantastic news.

Now we should sign Shanes as the No.7. Now that he has a Championship club. Extra meeting's and he's confidence wont drop.
