Don't think he is joking.

I did hear that Matt was trying to get his average down. That's why I put the original post up yesterday. Still expect Sundstrom and Shanes though.

You already have 2 riders, one who's flying, who you got on a silly 4.5 ish 2016 ave.Another who had a 4 year old ave, that has improved, and have had his ave reduced.Fine if anyone could have the same.Either Ford is a mastermind and the rest are clueless !!

Not a mastermind, just better than the other tosh. Every year promoters vote on new rules to save money and hinder Poole, yet every year you all complain that Matt is smart enough to make the most of it. You should be whinging about your own lazy promoters.

If every year promotors vote to hinder Poole,he should be crowned Sir Matt Ford with what he pulls off in that case.

No, he should be crowned Sir actually uses his brain to try and make the most of the rules. It's not some sort of big conspiracy... many promoters are vocal about their views at the AGM and Matt often says about how he'd rather a different outcome. He didn't want the one rider over 8pts, and yet he's still built a solid team. That's why he's taken so long to announce his team. It's not like Matt had exclusivity over any of the riders he signed from Poland this season! He planned his team, explored his options, reached out to riders and made a proper effort of it.

If it were up to Matt he'd have a higher points average and no silly restrictions. He worked to the rules the other promoters put in place, and so far he's given us a decent looking side. Nothing that anybody else couldn't have done first.

Oh really like you know!

More a case of DC being extremely bothered about the look of the Poole team that's so far been assembled and hoping against all hope for a chink of light for his beloved Robins.

With Leicester already looking stronger than Swindon and Poole likely to match, Swindon might scrape into the playoffs with their current team. But that's about it.

Have you finished wiping that egg off your face from last season, Steve?

Easy to say that but I doubt anyone would have expected KK to be so pathetic.

Looking at the lineups Swindon are nowhere near strong enough to retain next season. No big improvers and no big hitting reserves. Looks like last year was a blip and its back to mediocrity for the Robins. While normal service resumed for Pirates? Looking possible.

Funny that - Poole and Leicester looking strong. The two sides untilising dodgy averages.

Yes they did many people on here including Poole fans could see it was a dodgy signing, only a couple of blue tints thought otherwise.

Same as people are undecided over Holder

Same as nobody knows how the Poles will go.

Nothing better than seeing someone so cocksure being brought down a peg or two
