MFF made a not irrelevant comment on the Somerset match thread in which he qtd

"Keep this 1-7 for the rest of the month then the following happens. Out of the KO Cup. Probably 7 points off 4th spot in the Premiership. Another hammering by the Robins on Monday and if Rye win then we are bottom of the table"

Poole's next 4 matches to get to the first set of new rolling GSA's for the 3 new riders are assessed are Swin A - Rye H A - RH H - Wolves H. I cannot see this current team getting any points at Swin or the small specialised RH track. We may scrape 3 points against Rye at home as they are as bad as our team on present form. Against Wolves we may well struggle again.

Matt will have a decision to make as last thing he wants is not being able to use these riders current GSA's come 1st June as Spaniak and Sundstrom are below their current levels. Woryna will surely be kept and could be an ideal shoe in at  reserve with either maybe Shanes or even maybe Klindt returning.

I still think Matt may be thinking of using the Kurtz/Graz new rolling av to his advantage to maybe accomodate a new 8 pointer ?? (maybe Piotr Pawlicki) if he can afford such expense. I am not conviced jiggling it around to accomodate Holder and Kildermand is the answer as I have severe reservations as to which way killers career is going He is as inconsistent here as he is in Poland hence why he has been so low in POL EXL av for last 2 seasons and didnt make the cut in SGP.

We could well have a situation where this could work to Ford's long term advantage that a combination of Kurtz new GSA of 7.64 (below 8) - Josh G a bit down on his starting GSA now 6.79 - Woryna currently on 4.89 after 4 meetings - replace Spaniak - even Sundstrom is on a current 5.75 (another poss reserve if he continues as is as his BP dont count on GSA. Holder still on 7.16 so wont be facing a higher GSA come June which surely he would have got had he started the season.

There are numerous possibilities and permutations which Matt can use to his advantage (totally legally and not cheating) to his advantage to take advantage of riders falling av and poss plans for new riders coming in to get within the 43 point limit come 1st June.

Maybe why he is keeping fairly quiet about the situation currently ??

If we lose to Rye at home then we will be well adrift at the bottom of the table.

Then changes are pointless because the league is gone then as well as the KO Cup.

Too far back and relying on a Belle Vue or a Swindon 1-7 to completely fall apart. Which won't happen.

This Poole team was supposed to smash every team out of sight and Woryna was going to get a 7+average by certain Poole supporters what's happened lol

I don't dislike Shovlar. He's probably a cool guy. The only problem I have with him is the consistent praise of riders who aren't doing anything and the consistent over-hyping of the 1-7.

Somerset defeat - We will still make the play-offs and challenge for silverware.....We are practically out of the cup and will be bottom of the table on Monday night.

Szczepaniak can't score points when using his best equipment in Poland at the moment. So what chance has he got of scoring points in Britain on equipment that isn't half as good as the Polish gear?

Linus Sundstrom averages 5 points whilst being protected riding at No.4 in Poland he is the same rider 3rd place, 3rd, place, 3rd place might nick a 2nd place if he's lucky. He's on a 7.17 average and you don't get the points return for the average he carries.

The place could be packed out every single week it doesn't change the fact that the team is just not good enough. It's in black and white. The averages, The results and the individual performances of some riders.

Nothing to do with chemistry or any of that crap it's just a risk that hasn't paid off and we have a chance to fix the issue but certain so called Poole fans are more than happy to watch us lose by anything from 10 to 20 points every week.

You have neatly avoided my question though. Where do you think the promotion will find the money to make the changes you want if so called fans like you, don't turn up for meetings?

Matt has got money for example.

Richie Worrall would be cheaper than Linus Sundstrom. Nicolai Klindt or Paul Starke would be cheaper than Mateusz Szczepaniak.

Not sure what I posted was either incorrect or 'smug'?!  Merely stating facts as part of my opinion.

Hardly my fault if posters are reading or seeing something that isn't there!!

Unless Szczepaniak bucks up quick smart his place could be in danger, . I would keep james and keep Linus. Klindt's average is to high for a straight swap  with Szczepaniak as it stands, but im sure that Matt has things in hand. No, i am not happy to see us keep losing, but its all down to figures. Steve shovlar is ok mate, he's a real proper stunch Poole fan, and like all of us, wants the best for the club. Im not interested in the wind up merchants on here, who are clearly using the wrong bait, they need to change tack, try using Boillies and not worms.. i will ignore them,  i know who they are, and will talk to the decent posters, whichever club they represent.

An even better signing than I thought then! 4.54! Whoop whoop!

Starts at reserve and will no doubt clean up. The good news is of course we will always have a big hitter in the reserve berth next season. And if Shanes is the other reserve I am sure he will come on leaps and bounds as well, especially as he has many more meetings lined up next season riding for Sheffield.

the Pole won't be going anywhere Starman, mr Shovlar knows his stuff
