Doyle was always going places. Injuries held him back imo. Auty has had plenty of chances. Would have gotten somewhere by now.

Britain gives young Brits opportunities but some of them are way out of there depth.

Its all down to Buster Chapman's stupid rules. We would have won last year. Batchelor or Holder would have joined if it wasn't for the stupid rule and then we would have walked the league.

:D

Yes i agree so stupid to ban riders for refusing to race when the other 12 were happy to do so

you brought it up!

Did the other 12 riders refuse to race? No, including serial moaner KK

Chris Holder also had a great race with his brother as well. The track was rideable.

Not “always”, no. Jason was always second best to Chris Holder at IOW and slipped further behind at Poole, lacking the basic skill of staying on his bike. At Somerset in the lower league his gating was good enough to make him a top rider, but in the Elite League he suffered from reckless moves, too much leg-trailing and a lack of concentration. It was only at Birmingham that he tidied himself up and went from second string to number 1. I suspect then that he realised that with a bit more fitness, focus and hard work he could be a top international rider.

And he did it.

Similar to Tai, who was going backwards until he focused.

Teams are all signed and sealed very early. Promoters just announce riders at different times to get maximum publicity for there clubs therefore all riders have enough time to get sponsorship sorted.

Riders announce on twitter that there looking for a team spot very early because promoters know what team they want and what riders are signed u

I can just imagine a new rider agreeing to join the team, having a meeting with a prospective sponsor a couple of weeks later, all goes well and they reach an agreement, then the rider says " Thank you very much for the sponsership, but you mustn't tell anyone for 2 or 3 months because I will not be officially named in the team until the end of February! "

no your not right its all about opinion.

your promoter does it one way and many others do it another way.

do you honestly think that by Ipswich announcing their 1-7 tomorrow will have an impact on the season??? get in the real world.

Ipswich are promoting the club non stop at the moment in conjunction with the football team. The riders are going out on corporate events from now until the start of the season, going out meeting fans at various functions. Thats something that cant be done if you havent announced your riders.

Makes no difference how you announce your side and Ipswich are getting the riders involved with the fans from now until March.

There is no right or wrong way so get back in your box

Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing the Ipswich team announced tomorrow, just wish Poole would announce even 1 rider for next year!!

There is only half a dozen British riders who's careers could go somewhere on the European tracks. No point in giving riders like Auty, S. Lambert & Robson team spots in the top flight because they've been around for ages and never got anywhere. Just a waste of a team place in the top flight.

Let them all ride in the Championship whilst the Premiership can sign up and coming Poles and Swedes to put on a good show.

The Polish produce world class riders regularly. So giving them a team spot is actually going to further there careers.

You dont half talk some crap😜 ent got a clue comes to mind. Edited by Sidney the robin

so because they havent hit the dizzy heights they shouldnt be allowed in the top flight??? you speak total crap!!!

Stuart Robson was British number two in 2001 finishing ahead of Dugard, Havvy, Nicholls, Stoney, Louis, Wilson, Smith, Rico, Norris and Barker. Yes he isnt as good as he was so in your mind he should be thrown out of the league for a young foreigner!!! You are talking total total rubbish
