Coombers, he/she is a Peterborough fan. Formerly KingKennethSpeed (KKS). This time of year, every year, KKS comes out to play. He/she goes onto every premiership thread with predictions and statements. In addition to this, he/she trolls most of the championship threads doing the exact same thing.

Classic KKS.

I don't think its KKS to be honest. But he denied being Gater which makes him mad because we all know he was. Lets not discuss him though and let the real Poole have their thread back!

I have been to meetings and yes it would because its a rare experience to see those riders race in Britain.

Let's say it's Swindon vs Poole and the meeting had riders like Kildemand, Musielak, Milik, Woryna and C. Holder on show the attendance would increase because you are getting a rare chance at seeing certain riders that you wouldn't normally see.

People can see riders like Starke, Wilson-Dean & Nick Morris anytime they like because they ride in both leagues up and down the country.

Attendances are down because the product is poor but if they got rid of these stupid average assessments then who wouldn't want to see a meeting possibly containing riders like Piotr Pawlicki, Zagar, Kildemand and Milik

God, you're boring !!!

Woryna 4.65 and Milik 5.68 is best for business and for British Speedway in general.

The amount of revenue (Gate Money) our club would provide for other Premiership clubs.

For example Somerset's record attendance for a single league meeting would go through the roof due to Matt Ford.

Only best for Poole. If any other club got them on those averages, you wouldn't be saying that.. ;)

If any other club but Poole signed them no one would be saying anything. No one really kicked off when Musiliak signed for Swindon last year. And his signing was no different to Poole signing Woryna, who is a reserve in Poland compared to Musiliak being a number one/heat leader.

It's not trolling. You just don't get it. Here let me explain it a bit better.

Paying customers want to see big name riders.

Matt Ford can afford the big name riders but it's the rules and re assessments that is stopping him at the moment.

If Matt was allowed to sign riders on averages that the riders achieved then it would lead to an increase in attendances up and down the country because fans would jump at the chance to see big name riders something that the British fans don't have the pleasure of on a regular basis.

Benefits everyone. British Speedway wins and so do Premiership clubs due to an increase on ticket sales.

Every event needs a big name or names as an attraction.

Paying customers do want to see big name riders return to our league, at every team .

But correct me if I'm wrong , you seem to be suggesting that only Poole could achieve this feat?

and we should all be grateful and turn up in our droves whenever Poole are in town ?

Have you any idea how condescending that sounds ?

Not the case at all.

Regardless of rider, regardless of club either reassess them all or reassess none.

Also there were plenty of calls that a multiplier shouldve been applied last year.

Its definitely easier for teams such as Poole to sign ringers compared to say Belle Vue due to the nature of the decision makers. Rules are created or altered willy nilly to impede some whilst favouring others.

Though Swindon and Wolves also had two riders over 8 as they have done before, its the first time in over twenty years that The Aces have been in that position and we suddenly get a ruling preventing us from keeping hold of them.

Their not even subtle about it anymore.

Trouble is they are throwing or have thrown the baby out with the bath water and look where its got us. Very sad.

You really think no one would say anything if ANY club signed Woryna for 2018??

The same rider who has improved massively since he he was last here? The same argument for Milik and Lebedevs.

What part of riders who didnt ride here in 2017 get a new average do you disagree with?

All of it or part of it? ?

Surely you are okay with Woffy being reassessed???

What's the difference for Woryna.

As for Musielak if he was coming back in 2018 having missed this season I'd expect him to be reassessed no question as he too has improved.

Did anyone really think he would have improved that much BEFORE he came to Swindon?

This is NOT about it being Poole. It would be about ANY club signing a rider on a false average.

All riders should be being reassessed if they missed 2017 Steve, you are being very blue tinted if you really think this is about attacking Poole. It really isn't.

Seriously, did you think Musielak would have had the impact he did. No, recall many forum members laughing at the signing.

And there it is. Can tick that one off my BSF bingo card, we get it every winter.

People don't care who would be signing the ringers, they shouldn't exist. All we want is a level playing field for all.

No Wolves could achieve it. Belle Vue could as well

Piotr Pawlicki was interested in a UK return and personally I wouldn't mind Wolves signing him on a 7 something because its best for business and its best for British Speedway. Same goes for Belle Vue regarding Zagar and Swindon with Kildemand.

Get those GP or Ex GP riders over if you have the cash to spend. Get a TV deal by having big name attractions on show and then the fans will start to turn up in numbers because the product on show is better than previous years.

Say one team cant afford top riders and they know they are going to get battered before the meeting begins but if the riders on show were classy riders who don't ride over here often then the fans would still turn up because you are getting top riders providing you entertainment on the night on a rare occasion.

Its like a football match between say Arsenal and Barcelona at the Emirates. You know Arsenal are going to lose before its started but the fans would still turn up and would appreciate the talent like Messi on show.

BT will more than likely offer a better TV deal due to the attractions the league has.

British Speedway wins by having some top riders compete over here.

Clubs win because attendances will be up due to the product being better and the quality on show. Which would mean more revenue and gate money on the night.

So how about a Poole team of Charles Wright, Kyle Newman, Karol Zabik (reassessed 7:00), Paul Starke, Artur Mroczka (reassessed 7:00), Bjarne Pedersen (reassessed 9:00 - former GP winner). Leaves 2.87. And that is no slight on any of the riders mentioned.
But it's OK. You can see Lindgren score a max for Wolves week 1, Vaculik score a max for Leicester week 3 & Doyle score a max for someone week 4. There is the quality your after, they are visiting weekly.

Your wrong on everything

1. Your team is way under the limit.

2. Don't know where your getting a 9.00 average for Pedersen from.

3. Zabik and Mroczka wouldn't be a 7.00

4. Not exactly visiting weekly are they seeing as you have already left week 2 blank.

5. You are exaggerating on those Maximum's. Riders like Charles Wright are more than capable of beating the GP boys.

Yes. He was a number one in Poland. Obvious he was way better than the rider he replaced. Anyone who follows Poish speedway knew he would do well.
