Thinking about Woryna's average, and the issue of GP riders being assessed upwards.

Riders like Zagar and Woffinden rode in the old race format where heatleaders met each other more often, hence falsely low averages.

By the same token, Woryna rode as a reserve or second string - and would have avoided heatleaders. So, if anything, would his average not be too high?

So, should he not be assessed lower than his actual average based on 2016?

There is a distinct lack of Christmas cheer on this thread without chucking in this little beauty... :P

Not happy about signing Josh G he is a good rider but not improving, can't see putting anything on his average and will let you down when you need him most. Much rather have Hans Andersen personally

Shame about Newman going to to Leicester again, great signing for them and could put at least a point on his average.

I agree with that. But I think you've got Holder to come.

Fact is, Poole sacked Newman while Swindon stood by Ellis despite him not being an asset. Poole have always gone for pragmatism - or indeed sharp practice - rather than loyalty.

Ford made four moves that did not improve Poole's fortunes in 2017 Kerr,Zengota,Starke,Lahti needs to do better next year. Edited by Sidney the robin

Serious question. And it might well have been answered elsewhere but CBA to wade through pages and pages of plop from 2 or 3 posters. But why is Killer assessed to a 9 and Milik stays at his old average when both were only GP reserves in 2017?

So after the slightly unexpected signing of Josh G on 7.34 as a heat leader, Poole still to announce 2 x 'new to the club' signings at the sponsors' dinner on Monday.

Hoping to FaceTime the announcement.

😂😂😂 He should be assessed based on what he did in 2017 like 2017 GP riders given a 9. We know for GP riders that what they did in 2016 was irrelevant on what average they were given. Edited by woz01

I am happy with Josh. He will get some good support around him. Is 0.03 lower than Musilak and everyone thinks he is pretty good so I am happy with Josh.

Solid at home and by the sounds of things might not even be in a heat leader role after first averages.

Living with Matt will also be good, Near the aussie boys with Holder's Kurtz's(very good mates with Todd) sure this will be a good move.

good solid signing tho perhaps not a crowd pulling title winning one, still we have to be a little patient, think matt is having to curb his desire nay obsession to win the title with a stark awareness of the pretty low crowds last season and the predictions of little or no financial growth in uk for possibly many yrs,on the plus side for poole many more people will be staying in uk for hols, so that has to be one of the main target groups to aim at to bring to wimborne rd
