I don't get all this hype from Shovlar the Poole team on paper on English tracks looks no worse or better than at least 4 other teams

Because before every season Poole is always the best 1-7 and everyone else looks poor.

Then before every single match he will put up a preview classing Poole as the underdogs.then if Poole win it will be against the odds

Happens every season and the vast majority on here just laugh at it really

Time now for Shanes to ask for £1,000 a point or get off to Belle Vue.

Expect the official announcements this week as AFC Bournemouth have no game so better coverage in the local media!!

Also expect Josh G to be skipper if CH doesn't want it?!

Shanes' terms were agreed months ago - just waiting for the Poles to withdraw their digit so progress on the other signing could be made.

So if the Poles didn't withdraw their digit as you say,and Poole decided to go another way of team building, would this have left Shanes with nowhere to go.

So if Shanes has been done ages ago then why is Sundstrom on Pooles team on the website but Shanes isnt?

If a team looks good on paper it has a reasonable chance of looking good on the track.

As good as the NSS track is for entertainment, why would Shanes want to go and watch Belle Vue ?  Think he'd rather be riding.

Yes, that's life. Sub 3 point average riders with 1 season of experience don't exactly go to the top of the priority list.

One of Poole's "have-a-go" webmasters are busy f*cking the site up at the moment, so that may well be why. The more obvious reason is Matt loves a press opportunity and will probably big it up a little closer to the season starting.

Am i the only one on here thinking the Poles are not crazy with this whole situation regaurding 3 league limit??

They have the best league in the world, the best riders and solid teams, the best stadiums and the most supported meetings - Why wouldnt they want to protect there product?

Okay it sucks that we miss out, but Speedway in this country has been miss managed for years and the product has been cut so much that we now have 2nd division team line ups in the top flight. You cant blame the riders for putting the most effort/resources into a job in Poland as the rewards are far more than they could ever expect over here.

Good on the Poles for making a stand i say!

Risky move if the Poles hold firm though!

Seems silly to make it public if they decide not to lift there rule - Unless Matt thinks a bit of pressure from a local paper will sway there descion!?!

The local news was reporting that the rule had been lifted?
