Dont agree Arthur. James was riding to his average this season. Matt pointed out, it will be hard for him this season, but the lad took the  bull by the horns purchased new equipment and took on a second night. up untill he was drropped he posted his best score paid 11 for Sheffield, that in my book is improvement. He was not going to improve overnight but he was getting there. But, because the club is built on success Matt has to do what he feels is right for the club sponsors and the fans.

No. He was not riding to his average, as Skidder has previously posted. He had gone backwards. Hopefully he will continue to improve at Sheffield and be considered at Poole in future years. He was correctly replaced by Neilsen, who in turn due to injury is being replaced by Auty, a far more accomplished rider.

Neither of which are direct replacements and only possible because of averages dropping elsewhere in the team.  It’s not fair to compare.

Disagree and I’m surprised a Swindon fan would think that after we had the pleasure of sticking by Leigh Adams for all those years. I’d rather have watched him home and away than some bunch of mercenaries designed to win the league. Poole know nothing about loyalty.

All round as a league rider, I would not put Holder in the same league as Leigh Adams.Holder might have been better in the GP,s as Leigh did not have that ruthless streak but in our leagues, Leigh topped the av's for quite a few years. & he was the total team rider who sitting arm chair style guiding home a lesser rider for a 5 - 1. Also at the time, Matt was right that Chris would not get anywhere holding his average for the season. When they were at Kings Lynn, Troy overtook him in the averages. It's not all about loyalty, you have to take the rest of the team into account.

Matt does what he feels is best for the club. Time was ticking so he had to make a move.  James would have improved in time, but Matt unfortunately cannot wait for that.  if averages drop you are in trouble to replace.. Its a cut throat business, and its not restricted to our club, just you only hear about it when we make changes.. Funny that..

Shanes was sacked because other riders weren’t doing their jobs its not rocket science any Poole fan saying other wise is deluded.

yes Nielsen is a better rider but put it simply if the other riders were doing their jobs then Poole would never have been able to get rid of Shanes for Nielsen

Nielsen for Shanes was a no brainer, you only have to look at his scores before he got injured. Clearly Ford is/was waiting for the new averages to take effect before bringing in new riders.

Its hard to see a top star being brought in, and with riders like Sundstrom so up and down its hard to see who would actually get the chop in the main body of the team.

Starke now stands in temporarily for Nielsen, obviously not as a guest. So this should put Woryna at reserve now.
