hyderd 1,216 Posted October 6, 2017 In terms of the ridiculous average for Doyle for team-building, the poor start to the campaign, the fractured fixture list, the seventeen match winning run, the eight away wins, finishing top of the league, beating Poole repeatedly home and away, and coming from behind to win an epic final, I think those factors probably outweigh any other teams' achievements over the last ten years. very true, albeit in a very weakened league. DC2 11,150 Posted October 6, 2017 very true, albeit in a very weakened league. Do you know, I think this year's Swindon team in the middle of its seventeen match winning run, with all seven riders fit, would have run the 2007 Swindon dream team close. Not much to choose between Adams and Doyle, and Rico/Ulamek/Gjedde and Morris/Musielak/Bellego, and Moore and Wajknecht would cancel each other out with 2 points each, so it might have come down to Ellis/BWD having good nights over Chrzanowski/Mads. Plus, this year's team showed character and didn't capitulate in the Final!
