Lefty 1,257 Posted September 14, 2017 Somerset web site confirms no Lindgren in the second leg of the semi. Plus prospects of more guests and r/r Why do they agree these dates??? When do Lindgren / Masters / Doyle / Fricke etc head off to Melbourne??? Do we have the prospect of a Cup Final full of guests and r/r as well?

No mention of 'I won't be at Somerset'. A bit of honesty with the fans wouldn't go amiss. http://www.wolverhamptonwolves.co/news.php?extend.2811 Edited September 14, 2017 by Wolfsbane
Perton Wolf 396 Posted September 14, 2017 (edited) A joke of a statement from Somerset. Shouldn't they be doing all they can to ensure that GP riders like Lindgren are available? Surely it would boost the attendance. They seemed to want us to get on with it and use a 4 pointer instead - hardly seems fair! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155522952605540&id=206553905539 Not hard to see why the number of Guests and R/R's has been such a farce this year. Fixed race nights can't come sooner. Edited September 14, 2017 by Perton Wolf

bigcatdiary 3,164 Posted September 18, 2017 Ipswich suggest all four will be at Edinburgh as play offs take seniority over KOC
Perton Wolf 396 Posted September 18, 2017 What are the hell are Edinburgh and Ipswich playing at? Farcical scheduling. Championship ties shouldn't be allowed to take preference over any higher division competition either.
Lefty 1,257 Posted September 19, 2017 So is it Kyle Howarth on his own for Wolves with five guests & rider/rep at Somerset this Friday. Do we have a guest team manager as well or is PA not doing Stockholm??? More deckchairs for the BSPA Titanic please ...

spanner47 336 Posted September 19, 2017 What are the hell are Edinburgh and Ipswich playing at? Farcical scheduling. Championship ties shouldn't be allowed to take preference over any higher division competition either. Why the hell did the 1st Division decide to have a KO cup this season? They haven't had one for the past few seasons, the 2nd Division supporters have been moaning for years about having the final earlier in the season, the 1st Division clubs must have realised this was going to happen. But this is Speedway so as usual nobody does anything about anything and every season ends up in a mess. The sport need a fixture coordinator with total power to force teams to ride, until this happens this crap will continue.
