Mark 1,497 Posted August 14, 2017 Some very good racing from half way. Nicholls is still a very good and hard rider

SCB 0 Posted August 14, 2017 Lynch costing Leicester another win. He really is a special kind of rubbish at this managing lark.
Perton Wolf 396 Posted August 14, 2017 Right decision but the meeting would've finished as planned if BT started at the supposed 7:30 start time though, rather than 10/15 minutes later.
ouch 1,191 Posted August 14, 2017 I would imagine Jim will be let go after that. He's a nice bloke but speedway management really isn't his thing.
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted August 14, 2017 Leicester blew that and Somerset very lucky with a point. Lynch played a complete howler with the t/r. Ten points down with 1 and 3? No brainer. He must be the only person who thought, no. At least he has just publically apologised. And Somerset got lucky with the rain. Nicholls and King off 1 and 3 would have likely won it. Good meeting though.
Grand Central 2,654 Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) What sort of strange hold does Lynch have over promoters. Time again he gets picked up for work when he has no discernible talent. Just look at him in the interview with Tatum. Rambling nonsense. Like they let the village idiot in. Edited August 14, 2017 by Grand Central
PHILIPRISING 7,298 Posted August 14, 2017 Right decision but the meeting would've finished as planned if BT started at the supposed 7:30 start time though, rather than 10/15 minutes later. THE programme starts at 7.30 not the racing
Bald Bloke 3,284 Posted August 14, 2017 Lynch costing Leicester another win. He really is a special kind of rubbish at this managing lark. I agree to a degree that his riders" weren't going".But as Kelv said they had 1-3,and the following heats didn't look any better.Seems like a nice bloke but nice don't cut it. Good meeting though. Everyone's saying he should have played the joker after the event but it didn't look a no brainer beforehand, 2 riders who'd done nothing against Richard Lawson who's been on fire this week (although admittedly not so much for the Rebels). And Nicholls & King, who'd both run last places, would have been up against Charles Wright who'd only been beaten by a snapped chain, so anyone's to win, but we'll never know! TheReturn 1,724 Posted August 14, 2017 So many 'experts' on hear slagging Lynch off for not playing the stupid joker. It's so, so easy when you are not the one making the decision. Hindsight is so wonderful hey.
