TheReturn 1,724 Posted November 1, 2017 He must have been jet lagged and busted all season, because he was pants all year... and not had to worry about riding in the UK in the last few weeks
NickRushbrook 202 Posted November 1, 2017 Can only echo what many others have said regarding Holders inclusion. Total disgrace of the highest order. I would be spitting feathers if I was either one of Milik or Lebedevs.
OveFundinFan 4,139 Posted November 1, 2017 Sponsors should have absolutely no say on who gets a place in the GP series. Am very disappointed with this decision re Holder. With ll this mention of Monster on this forum, has anyone gone out and bought a can or three. No, me neither.

Arthur54 1,300 Posted November 1, 2017 Disgraceful that Holder gets a pick and that Lebedevs isn't even a reserve. Why is it disgraceful, first time he's had to rely on one, not like a certain Brit I know

salty 2,200 Posted November 1, 2017 Why is it disgraceful, first time he's had to rely on one, not like a certain Brit I know Second. He got one the year following his bad injury, which was fair enough. I would have been annoyed if he'd got a pick instead of Vaculik, but can't really get too mad about his selection. Having said that, I hate the thought of Monster's sponsorship playing a part.
racers and royals 8,719 Posted November 1, 2017 Just to add my two pence worth. This season was the best line-up we have had for many a year- so good riders were always going to finish outside the top 8. As for giving a wildcard to "new blood" let`s not forget we have Prem Pawlicki, Cook and Artem Laguta coming in next season.

customhouseregular 1,651 Posted November 1, 2017 If wild cards were picked purely on merit Lebedevs would have been in. He outscored A. Laguta, Milik and Prem Pawlicki in the SEC. In the 3 GP rounds Milik competed in he outscored Holder every time. If the GP is meant to feature the world's best riders surely both Lebedevs and Milik have a legitimate claim.
