We are going to both Gorzow & Torun Gp,s but having a major problem finding any meetings on the Sunday after GP. If any kind person could post any information of meetings on these Sundays it would help with a lesser hangover on the Monday :D

there are no league meetings in Poland after GP in Gorzow

as for GP in Torun, 8th October is the date for the 2nd leg of playoffs, not the final unfortunately, I mean the promotion/relegation playoffs between Ekstraliga and 1 liga teams, and 1 liga and 2 liga teams. It's hard to say at the moment what teams will participate in those, but for Ekstraliga it will be either Torun or Rybnik with whatever team finishes second in 1 liga (most likely Gdansk or Daugavpils), as for the 1&2 liga it'll be Rzeszow against Gniezno or Lublin (most likely).

I believe the higher division teams have 2nd leg at home, so Torun/Rybnik and Rzeszow. Not sure what the rule are for hosting a league meeting one day after GP, are there any? is it OK? cause if it's not and you'd have to travel to Rybnik or Rzeszow then it's unfortunately quite a journey from Torun... ~260mi to Rybnik, ~300mi to Rzeszow, but the latter is not worth the trip as it's one of the worst racing tracks in Poland

I hope I didn't mess anything up, so let's wait for r&r to confirm :)

They only announced one rider so far - Sam Masters, but he's a doubt now due to his collarbone injury

But if last year's lineup can be any indication, then you're in for a treat.

Why you folks keep bashing Rzeszow for being poor race track i was born there and have attended multiple great meetings mostly back in 80 and yearly 90 some of them are available on Youtube. Most speedway people consider Opole as the best race track in Poland and we don't see that one too often on prime tv i ahve also seen some good meetings from Tarnow or Gdansk in the past few boring meetings does not mean at bad race track.

Racer and Royals (you are the man) thanks for your information. We got to Ostrow not a bad meeting thank you. The day after Torun could you confirm that there is play off between Gdansk v Torun (trying to book which airport to fly too)

impossible to confirm 100% at the moment, 2nd legs of 1 Liga semis are this weekend (Tarnow - Lodz and Gdansk - Daugavpils) and then the finals between (most likely) Tarnow and Gdansk. Whoever loses the finals will be racing at home on the 8th October against... god knows, depends what Ekstraliga decides to do with Laguta and Rybnik's points :)

As Tarkens says it's all up in the air- Nigel Pearson was completely wrong when he said it !!!

Torun could well be relegated and Rybnik or Grudziadz in the promotion/ relegation play-off.
