Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

Recommended Posts

I see tonight that BT have confirmed the dates for the Premiership Grand Final which were originally the dates for the relegation and promotion meetings.

Has the idea of relegation now been dropped or just moved back and not televised

Monday and Wednesday 2nd and 4th October

That is strange, if Swindon get through to the final we cannot race on a wed as we have dog racing on wed nights.

The second leg would be the away leg then, if Swindon make it.

So that will have to be the away leg then. Unless the Swindon riders are doubling up as greyhounds as well.

Swindon will not want to give up the 2nd leg at home- and the stadium will probably make arrangements with BAGS for that one night.

With the Play off final dates much later than expected, does this mean the League cut off date will be extended so that all clubs can fulfill their fixture list? No reason to cram all meetings in before 6th September now surely???? Play off semis probably 18th & 25th September so cut off could easily be put back to 11th or 13th September?

With Semi-Finals starting on 11th September I can't see how they'd put it back any further.
