Well they've just finished bottom.

Maybe so but what other line up could they have put then ? Can only go with the team they have got !

Perhaps we should forget the meeting's all together and see what happens at the agm in novemberand see what wonderful ideas they come up with this year ?

But the disparity in ability between top and bottom won't make for good racing. And the further dilution in quality will imo drive more fans away

Sheffield gonna win this fix on a last heat decider, just for the TV and for fruitcakes that think this is real

Around 250 senior professional riders currently registered. Around 120 riders have ridden in PL & CL, enough for 17 full teams.

And most of them have no interest in riding over here

They might have gone with different guests, that line-up can do well but they are all a bit patchy, even King this year.

No, that's the number of riders registered with the SCB.

I think when you look at the line ups tonight it should make for good racing.

Plenty of time for Pawel to come over to the UK now.... or will Leicester avoid the BSPA fine?

Very possibly but it doesn’t get around the fact that the ones currently riding do both leagues.

Kyle Howarth is looking forward to these meetings and winning promotion to the Premiership

Where he already rides for another club

He is injured and will not be riding today.

So Sheffield will be having RR for an injured rider while Leicester run it for a perfectly fit rider who wont come over for meeting, makes sense in Speedway I suppose

But if it’s the same riders in both leagues how can you make it all one big league, where do the extra riders come from?

We could always reduce the teams to 6 riders. After all, most of the matches we watch, the Teams only have 6 riders and RR anyway......
