Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

No he should ride in the champ permanantly. not occasionally

silly comment.

A genuine question, is it the riding order rather than a superior team. Heeps, King and Newman when riding for Ipswich at Sheffield do not seem as competitive. The void may not be as great other than for the riding order. Perhaps I am wrong but just an observation.

interesting comment. However I'd say the result would be the same whatever the riding order. Put a 2nd tier team up against a top flight one and there will always be more strength, particularly at the bottom end.

Is it televised next Monday or can we all rely on updates while watching something more interesting, such as the adverts.

It's on BT next Monday. :t:

Not sure if Lions are that good or Tigers are that poor. Overall not a great meeting (unless you are a Lions supporter  )

Lions arent bottom of the Premiership for no reason

Very well said

But you would say that.

Please tell me why. Not that you will come up with anything of any logic.

Because they are not the force they were.

What utter tripe of a meeting and another embarrassment once more for British speedway. The last race sums it all up really, red flag out when the fallen rider had already cleared the track!!..... At least it brought a (slightly) early ending to the shambles, I guess!

BT must be really hoping that it pours next Monday and then they won't have to show the second leg farce as they will then no doubt find that that have "no space in their schedules" to cover the re-staging!!!

But still top flight standard riders.

Did Kyle Newman really just say Leicester would be in the Play Offs if they started with that team? ??

You're in the RIGHT play offs Kyle. Leicester have improved mid season but not top 4 level.

Nice comedy moment.

Cant see how some think there's a big gulf between the divisions when Ipswich riders did a lot of the damage. Just hope they can do the same on Thursday.

Well done everyone on BT sport tonight for some oscar winning performances . Trying to make us believe we have been watching a team who were genuily trying to get promoted. Sheffield have had 15 years to move up to the top division and have declined every time although this year was different and they actually wanted to move up ,yeah right Sheffield Unbeaten at home all year and going through the tapes like rabbits in the headlights , very convenient, an absolute walloping. But well done to Natalie, Nigel and Kelvin for keeping it going when we were watching nothing more than a pantomime, roll on the 2nd leg next week. Only problem for Sheffield is finding a new race night for next year. Tonight was a further embarrassment to the sport

Very Much So

There is only one Leicester rider that doesn't ride in the championship. The difference is that you have better riders at the lower end.

The difference being they occupy positions (by average) 3 6 and 7 at Leicester but 1 3 and 5 at Ipswich.

Do agree and hope they can perform to that standard on Thursday too though 👍

So it looks like Sheffield wont win the promotion battle (by some distance). So that means they wont be in the Premiership next season except this is Speedway and anything can happen

the premership as some want to call it is that poor any club who wants to join only has to ask

Which was my point. They are still good enough in the current watered down top flight.
