hyabb17 1,077 Posted August 24, 2017 (edited) We all know tonight will be down on numbers & I imagine the club does as well. I am giving it a miss as we've the double header on Monday against the same side. Will save my cash for that. The planning of fixtures for all clubs has been pi$$ poor this year,. Swindon fans on facebook/twitter were very quick to post pictures of the excellent crowd numbers on Monday as a result of their great £5 promotion. I wonder if they will be just as quick to post pictures of tonight's crowd? Edited August 24, 2017 by hyabb17

What do Swindon normally get?
hagonshocker 1,956 Posted August 24, 2017 Swindon riding against another joke of a patched up line-up. WHAT A SURPRISE! Only reason why Swindon are top tbh. Will defo come unstuck in the play-offs against a full 1-7. Haven't you got some purple chinos to iron fruit loop?
RHayes 72 Posted August 24, 2017 Without me actually telling you my source, it is safe to say they are extremely close to the Somerset promotion. Lol! To be fair, you're not wrong. Who really thinks Garry May would want to go with a patched up side

hyabb17 1,077 Posted August 24, 2017 Nope - average would be approx. 1200-1400 pushing 1800-2000 on a good day. 900 tops.
A ORLOV 8,628 Posted August 24, 2017 900 tops. cobblers. It is difficult to tell with the bars etc but I would think about 1500

oldswindonsupporter 42 Posted August 24, 2017 Well it will be plus one tonight as I'm attending rather than do the BH meeting as far too much to do at home.
hyabb17 1,077 Posted August 24, 2017 Believe what you want. If every Swindon fan is saying the average is between 1200-1500 we can't all be wrong now. 900 tops.
keef robin 551 Posted August 24, 2017 (edited) Average is around 1500, have crowds varying from 1000 to 2500, and 3000 the other night. One of the sponsors was telling me there are around 400 season ticket holders, guests, sponsors, volunteers, etc., that aren't included in the figures. Swindon The Man U of Speedway, if they get that new stadium will be massive crowds, battling to get in. Edited August 24, 2017 by beefy keefy
theblueboy 960 Posted August 24, 2017 (edited) Who can take Heeps rides tonight? Eddie and the stiffs? Edited August 24, 2017 by theblueboy
Gresham 928 Posted August 24, 2017 So for the sake of argument, call it 1400. Take into consideration, concessions, kids, season tickets etc,...surely there is an argument to drop prices to get more people through the gates on a regular basis? Cash on the door. 3000 at £5 average, plus your programmes, food and drink, parking etc...also generates a better atmosphere. Makes sense to me.
