g13webb 4,254 Posted August 29, 2017 The weather was glorious, the event was amzing, the people gathered in there thousands. It sure was a wonderful day out at the Silverstone for the British GP. The atmosphere was electric, the racing was unbelievable, the speed was mind blowing but the noise was orchestral. The overrun into the corners, the screams of high revving was so erotic.. A day never to be forgotten.... The one aspect of this wonderful day that over rode every other thought was fans willingness to queue up and pay over the odds for every available merchandise you could imagine. Every man and his mate was walking about with 46 Valentino Rossi product on. Be it Tee Shirts; Caps; shorts; dresses; skirts, shoes; socks, and anything else you wanted could be brought at inflated prices. It was said that Rossi products account for 80% of all merchandise sold. A ridiculous but true fact.... A quality Kings Lynn Stars Tee shirt can be brought for £25, A VR46 one, is of far less quality, but charges double that. They say they're nothing more strange than folk. and this was illustrated to the extreme. Yes! wonderful Day, Fantastic experience, never to be forgotten.
