Panthers89 1,922 Posted September 3, 2017 Should there be a facility if riding in Poland? Tough one as your allowed a facility for a rider 24 hours after an FIM event but takes the biscuit if riding elsewhere.

diamond_ren 209 Posted September 3, 2017 It's going to be very difficult tonight without lambert so we really need Robson,Lindgren and Worrall to not drop any points to be in with a chance of victory.

Panthers89 1,922 Posted September 3, 2017 So why is Lambert riding in Poland? Polish play off meeting that was in the diary first BEFORE this rearranged meeting. Unfortunate but not really anyones fault.
slyfox 97 Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) Polish play off meeting that was in the diary first BEFORE this rearranged meeting. Unfortunate but not really anyones fault. This meeting is a rearranged meeting from way back on 7th May. This date has been available all season. Why was it left until 2 weeks ago to set this date. Makes you wonder is this scenario just to stop Newcastle getting into the same position as Ged Rathbone at Peterborough. Looks like they have left it that late so that the European authorities can say the the Polish play off meeting takes priority as it was in the diary first. Thereby stopping George having his Licence suspended like Ged. Even so the BSPA do not allow a facility in this situation only a NL guest. Having said that Josh is not in a NL team so is he technically eligible to ride. Edited September 3, 2017 by Sly Fox

The Polish playoffs have been on the ISL calendar since the 1st issue in February. This match isn't even on the latest one issued on the 17th August.

Redcar have been offered several dates, but were unable to accept them. Remember we have both Redcar meetings to rearrange as our other B meeting was planned for the same day as the 4's at Peterborough. There was a suggestion that Scunny would give up their away meeting with us to allow Redcar to replace them, and give them the opportunity for league points given that they were challenging for a playoff place, and the Diamonds and Scunny were not. Nothing came from that suggestion, so the Scunny meeting went ahead as planned. Given the pressure to get on with the backlog of fixtures, it would not surprise me if George had pressure put on him to put a fixture on, and probably accepted to do that he had no choice but to go without Robert.
