Will The Championship Knock Out Cup Be Completed By Christmas ?

Recommended Posts

I think that's the answer to KOC ties on aggregate

would that lead to definitely wanting your home tie 2nd ?

We didn't turn it down you filled it with another fixture.

No, we ended up with no fixture that day, after Peterborough turned down the fixture.

All the best

Why did Peterborough turn it down?

Missing riders I would suggest

By the time this comp has a winner teams would of potentially signed riders for next season!

The Glasgow tie was held up with Workington and Newcastle drawing their first running and having to stage a replay . With the fixture list being the minefield it has become , time to stop the replay scenario and just have golden heats or whatever .

SR 18.3.2 All Meetings, including the Semi-Finals and Final are decided upon the aggregate score of both the home and away legs. In the event of a tie in aggregate, provided the 2nd leg took place before August 1st then the Tie will be replayed, thereafter the outcome of any tie will be determined by Golden Heats Format.

So why not just make every draw on aggregate golden heats ? We were ready to race our KO Cup tie in June but had to wait on Workington and Newcastle sorting out replay dates .

Why did Peterborough turn it down?

So they're criticised for turning up with a weakened team recently and criticised for not accepting a date when they would have had a weakened team....

I thought there was a set date that all ties needed to completed by

Obviously I was wrong but why isn't there a date for each round to be

Completed

If you haven't completed then who ever is causing the hold up forfeits the tie

Or is that too simple

Not the best of comparisons. Just says that we want our best team out when it matters to us but will send out any ol' rot when it doesn't?

Only 2 clubs managed to complete all 36 league matches before the cut off

Only 2 clubs completed their initial cup tie within planned timescale

Surprise surprise the answer is the same to both

Sheffield will have completed their home matches and be up to date with cup matches as well

We can't control away matches I'm afraid
