Yep, you're right it wouldn't have made a difference. Because Hancock is injured after all...

No sh*t Sherlock your talents are wasted you should be a stand up bull sh*t artist as you keep supplying more and more bits of useless information.

Nope , zilcho , zero meeting this weekend.

To be honest is it a miss.

De ja vu, Did this not happen when he left them to come to us ;o( shame such a talented rider to lose his reputation.

Dan enjoyed his time at Edinburgh a return was never going to happen with belle vue and Edinburgh riding on the same night.

That's what happens when you sign riders that you don't own I'm afraid. Poor from dan though still should have rode last night.

Heard from several people that he's not enjoyed being at Glasgow this year.

Enjoyed himself so much that he only stayed there one season...

All the best

Rob

That's irrelevant . As you can see , lack of track success hasn't dulled or diminished the smug levels .

Happy with my teams performance to only lose by 3 points after losing two riders (one been our number 1 and a track specialist) and on a track that appeared to be tricky track conditions for me showed determination and character that the team has shown in the last couple of months.

Hopefully we can now move on and finish the job off, Thursday and Saturday with a fully fit team, but Ipswich are no push overs and I fear after last night meeting that we could have a problem with the fitness of some of our riders.

Pity we didn't get 15 heats last night as the racing was the best it's been for a long time. Ultimately that's what I want to see first and foremost.

Totally agree,i wonder if we would have won if it had got to heat 15 ? Just hope the lads are fit for tomorrow.

In saying if Glasgow had brought in Greg Hancock "it still wouldn't have made any difference" the poster did of course mean hypothetically not literally, lol :D

I see Bewley is down to ride at Belle Vue tonight . I know he's just a young lad and is only doing what Belle Vue have told him to do , but it's not on . Exciting talent or not , we can't have that , we want riders commited to the Tigers' cause and his Tigers career should be over .

There are now a few riders that are picking their nights/teams for riding. Holder & R Lambert are 2 more that come to mind for criticism. But, talent or not, what can you do as that is why you sign these riders, for improvement. If other teams like this then they will prioritise when they are racing but there is nothing that can be done with the rules we have in place at the moment.

If riders pull out within 24 hours of a meeting then they should be barred from racing for 48 hours. If it is for sickness then this could be passed on if viral. If it is through injury then similar as the injury could flare up but not fully settle & if racing within 24 hours could put themselves and/or other riders in jeopardy.

Better than that it was a joke by the original poster who actually said....

"Anyway after the first leg we could have brought Greg Hancock in and it still wouldn't have made any difference."

Substitute any others as takes your fancy:

"Anyway after the first leg we could have brought Cristiano Ronaldo in and it still wouldn't have made any difference."

"Anyway after the first leg we could have brought Santa Claus in and it still wouldn't have made any difference."

"Anyway after the first leg we could have brought Spider Man in and it still wouldn't have made any difference."

"Anyway after the first leg we could have brought Lewis Hamilton in and it still wouldn't have made any difference."

Sorry, appreciate that Lewis Hamilton is otherwise engaged at the minute so scrub the last one.
